The annual summer meeting and farm tour for the Pacific Northwest Christmas Tree Association will be held at the Lucky Eagle Casino and Hotel in Rochester June 19-20.
The two-day event brings Christmas Tree growers from Washington and Oregon together. It will include educational sessions on Friday with seminars on Christmas Tree growing ideas from Denmark, pest control options, disease management, weed identification made easy, a genetic trial and more.
On Saturday, growers will tour Hedlund Christmas Trees and Tillman Christmas Trees. Field demonstrations and a barbecue lunch will be provided.
The Pacific Northwest Christmas Tree Association is the nation’s largest regional Christmas Tree association and is composed of growers, suppliers and retailers from Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho and British Columbia.
