National apparel retailers Dress Barn, Centralia, and Maurices, Chehalis, and The U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program are teaming up this holiday season to collect toys for needy children.

All of the toys collected will be given to children in the community. The retailers encourage the donations to be new, unwrapped toys.

As a reward for donating, Dress Barn is offering 15 percent off of a regularly-priced purchase at the store. This year the corporation is donating $25,000 to the Toys for Tots Program.

Maurices will give a 20 percent coupon for each item donated to use at the next time of purchase. Paisley the holiday dog, which is being sold to help fund the National Cancer Research Program, can also be purchased to benefit Toys for Tots.

“Dress Barn wants to bring holiday magic to disadvantaged children,” said Joni Larson, senior executive manager for the Centralia location.

“We encourage associates and customers to donate,” she said.
