Valley View Health Center to Take Over Pope’s Kid’s Place Clinic

Valley View Health Center will take over operations of the Pope’s Kids Place pediatric clinic starting May 1.

According to a press release, the transfer of the pediatric clinic allows the community service organizations to pursue their primary health care missions.

Pope’s Kids Place will continue serving the community through its Youth Home Health and Respite Center, Children’s Dental Clinic and Early Learning Center.

Steven Clark, executive director of Valley View Health Center, has a long-term plan to build a new pediatric clinic with additional pediatric services at a new location in the future.

A press release stated Pope’s Kids Place is glad to be leaving patients in the hands of Valley View Health Center.

“It has been a great pleasure caring for children’s medical needs at the Pediatric Medical Center, and special thanks to the community for your loyalty over the years,” Frank Millwood, executive director of Pope’s Kids Place, said. “We wish the children and their families continued good health and all the best in the coming years.”

Medical records will remain on file at the location, and if a patient’s family chooses Valley View Health Center Centralia Pediatrics, guardians do not need to take any action concerning their child’s records. If another provider is chosen, a copy of the child’s medical records will be forwarded upon written authorization. The clinic has forms available or necessary paperwork can be completed at the first visit with a new provider.

The clinic will continue to operate in the same location with the following hours of operations, phone number and fax number:

Monday: 7:30 a.m.-6 p.m.

Tuesday: 7:30 a.m.-6 p.m.
