Registration Deadlines for November Election Approaching Quickly

If you haven’t registered to vote for the November general election in Washington state, you don’t have much time left to do so.

The deadline for registering either through the mail or online, as well as to transfer or update an existing voter registration, is close of business Oct. 6. The last day that in-person registrations for people not currently registered in Washington is Oct. 27.

Anyone wishing to register, update their address or get a registration form can do so by visiting the Lewis County Courthouse, 351 NW North St. in Chehalis between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. People can also register at all drivers’ licensing locations.



Mail-in forms are available at U.S. Post Office locations and public libraries. Alternatively, prospective voters can register online at www.myvote.wa.gov.

Mailed registration forms must be postmarked by Oct. 6 for changes to be made for the November election.
