Local resident Bill Bush expresses his concerns about the flood-destroyed Leudinghaus Bridge, which is gathering logs in the Chehalis River alongside his Dryad-Meskill area home Thursday, Dec. 20, 2007. Meanwhile up river, Washington State Department of Transportation workers rapidly construct a military-style Bailey bridge to span the river along Leudinghaus Road east of Dryad where the old bridge used to be.
