Woman Faces DUI, Drug Possession Charges After Sunday Crash

A Glenoma woman was arrested Sunday after her vehicle rolled into a ditch near Randle.

LaShawna J. Wolf, 36, was driving west at 10:10 a.m. Sunday on U.S. Highway 12 at milepost 112, two miles west of Randle, when her 1987 Ford Bronco drifted onto the shoulder, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Wolf overcorrected the vehicle, which rolled and came to rest in the westbound ditch, according to the State Patrol.

Wolf was injured and transported to Morton General Hospital. Her vehicle was totaled.

The crash was caused by inattention, according to the State Patrol. Wolf was arrested on suspicion of DUI and possession of a controlled substance and booked into the Lewis County Jail.

She is scheduled to make her first appearance on a violation of the Uniform Controlled Substances Act charge at 4 p.m. Monday, Nov. 30.
