Two people possibly suffered hypothermia after their canoe capsized Sunday afternoon in Plummer Lake in Centralia, according to the Centralia Police Department.
Police responded to a report of a capsized canoe at 3:51 p.m Sunday in the 400 block of Lakeshore Drive in Centralia. Two people were reportedly in the water.
When officers arrived, they found a passerby was already helping the canoe’s occupants out of the water.
The occupants, a man and a woman, were treated by aid crews for possible hypothermia.
