Thefts

• At 11:36 a.m. Friday, a theft of a power washer was reported in the 600 block of South Gold Street.

• At 2:33 p.m. Friday, a theft of a wallet was reported in the 1400 block of South Gold Street.

• At 1:50 p.m. Saturday, a theft of high-end fishing gear was reported in the 3100 block of Fords Prairie Avenue.

• At 2:03 p.m. Saturday, a theft of clothing items was reported in the 1400 block of Lum Road.

Juvenile Referred for Marijuana Possession

• At 12:29 p.m. Friday, police responded to the 800 block of Eshom Road and referred a juvenile to the prosecutor’s office on suspicion of marijuana possession.

Police Arrest Theft, Dealing Suspect

• At 3:55 p.m. Friday, police responded to the 1300 block of Lum Road and arrested Paul L. Hess, 19, of Chehalis on suspicion of possession with intent to deliver and second-degree theft.

Two Juveniles Arrested for Theft

• At 4:55 p.m. Friday, police responded to the 1300 block of Belmont Avenue and arrested two juveniles on suspicion of second-degree theft.

Assaults

• At 9:29 p.m. Friday, police responded to the 900 block of South Scheuber Road and arrested Paige M. Martin, 19, of Centralia on suspicion of third-degree assault.

• At 1 a.m. Saturday, police responded to the 1100 block of Eckerson Road and arrested Tyler J. Lee, 31, of Centralia on suspicion of fourth-degree assault — domestic violence.

• At 1:17 p.m. Sunday, police responded to the 900 block of South Scheuber Road and arrested a 15-year-old female suspect on suspicion of third-degree assault.

Multiple Windows Smashed

• At 5:54 a.m. Saturday, a caller in the 1100 block of K Street reported that several windows on a house were smashed.

Vehicle Prowl

• At 4:26 p.m. Sunday, a vehicle prowl was reported in the 500 block of North Iron Street.

CHEHALIS POLICE DEPARTMENT

Suspected Drug Use Spotted in Car

• At 8:14 a.m. Friday, police were alerted to suspected drug use happening in a car on Southeast Spring Street.

Items Stolen From House

• At 10:08 a.m. Friday, police were dispatched to the 1300 block of Northwest River Street where someone stole several items out of a house.

Police Respond to Fight, Make Arrest

• At 11:18 a.m. Friday, police responded to the 900 block of Northwest Pennsylvania Avenue to a fight in progress and arrested and released Danielle L. Weaver, 27, of Chehalis on suspicion of inhaling toxic fumes.

Obstructing Public Servant Suspects Cited

• At 6:53 p.m. Friday, police responded to the 1400 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue and cited Paige M. Marthin, 19, of Centralia on suspicion of obstructing a public servant.

• At 2:06 a.m. Saturday, police responded to the 100 block of Northwest State Avenue and cited Dylan E. Schenk, 25, of Port Angeles on suspicion of obstructing a public servant.

Person Injured in Car Crash

• At 6:53 a.m. Saturday, police responded to a car crash with injuries at the intersection of 8th Street and Chehalis Avenue.

Vehicle Stolen

• At 4:55 p.m. Saturday, a vehicle was reported stolen in the 1100 block of South Market Boulevard.

Police Arrest Man for Meth Possession

• At 8:56 a.m. Sunday, police responded to the 100 block of Southwest Interstate Avenue and arrested Nathan J.J. Hayes, 40, of Chehalis on suspicion of indecent exposure and possession of meth.

Theft

• At 3:19 p.m. Sunday, a theft of an antique hood ornament was reported in the 1300 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue.

Police Cite Theft Suspect

• At 5:28 p.m. Sunday, police responded to the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue and arrested and released Marcus E. Prince, 46, of Chehalis on suspicion of third-degree theft.

Counterfeiting Incident Reported

• At 3:55 a.m. Monday, police responded to the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue where a man was trying to pay a business with a fake bill.

LEWIS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Woman Revived With Narcan

• At 7:41 p.m. Friday, deputies responded to the 200 block of Baker Road, Randle and revived a woman suffering from an overdose with a dose of Narcan.

 

Deputies Look for Burglary Suspect

• At 10:23 p.m. Saturday, deputies responded to the 100 block of Sunstone Drive where a person forced their way into a residence. As of Monday morning, deputies were still looking for the suspect.

 

LEWIS COUNTY JAIL STATISTICS

• As of Monday morning, the Lewis County Jail had a total system population of 233 inmates, with 197 in general population, 34 in the work ethic and restitution center and two on work release. Of general population inmates, 168 were male and 29 were female, and of WERC inmates, 30 were male and four were female. A total of 35 inmates were booked through contracts outside Lewis County.
