CENTRALIA POLICE DEPARTMENT 

Police Book Unlawful Imprisonment Suspect

• At 7:18 a.m. Wednesday, police responded to the 1300 block of Belmont Avenue and arrested Timothy R. Griffith, 61, of Centralia on suspicion of unlawful imprisonment and fourth-degree assault — domestic violence.

 

Suspect Arrested After Disturbance

• At 12:16 p.m. Wednesday, police responded to the 2400 block of Reynolds Avenue and arrested Jason R. Ferris, 33, of Centralia on suspicion of interference with a health care facility after allegedly causing a disturbance at a facility.

 

Hit and Runs

• At 2:48 p.m. Wednesday, a hit and run was reported in the 400 block of South Silver Street.

• At 10:12 p.m. Thursday, a hit and run was reported in the 100 block of Shirlee Avenue.

 

Vehicle Prowl

• At 9:07 p.m. Wednesday, a vehicle prowl was reported in the 1100 block of Harrison Avenue. Someone stole hairdressing equipment.

 

DUI Suspect Arrested

• At 10:12 p.m. Wednesday, police responded to the 1200 block of Harrison Avenue and arrested Koren A. Williams, 39, of Colorado on suspicion of driving under the influence.

 

Juvenile Arrested for Theft, Alcohol

• At 12:48 p.m. Thursday, police responded to the 1100 block of Harrison Avenue and arrested a female juvenile on suspicion of third-degree theft and minor in possession of alcohol.

 

Police Investigate Reported Assault

• At 1:19 p.m. Thursday, police were dispatched to the 1300 block of Alexander Street on a report of an assault.

 

Charged Referred for Cellphone Theft

• At 11:12 p.m. Thursday, police responded to the 900 block of South Scheuber Road after a hospital staff member reported the theft of a cellphone by a patient. Police arrested Blake D. Hansen, 28, of Centralia on a DOC warrant and referred him to Centralia Municipal Court on suspicion of third-degree theft.

 

Theft

• At 8:04 p.m. Thursday, a theft of propane tanks was reported in the 2300 block of North Pearl Street.

 

CHEHALIS POLICE DEPARTMENT

 

Truck Stolen

• At 7:52 a.m. Wednesday, a theft of a blue, possibly GMC, truck was reported in the 1800 block of South Market Boulevard.

 

Suspect Arrested for Custodial Assault

• At 8:50 a.m. Wednesday, police responded to the 300 block of Southwest 11th Street and arrested a 16-year-old boy on suspicion of custodial assault.

 

Person Spotted Going Through Caller’s Car

• At 9:42 a.m. Wednesday, a caller in the 900 block of South Market Boulevard reported someone they saw someone going through their car. The person didn’t take anything.

 

Caller Reports Possible Child Abuse

• At 10:58 a.m. Wednesday, a caller in the 1400 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue reported a man appeared to be dragging a child by the throat to a car.

 

Two Car Windows Broken Out

• At 1:04 p.m. Wednesday, police were alerted to two car windows that had been broken out in the 1300 block of Northwest River Street.

 

Attempted Theft Reported

• At 1:04 p.m. Wednesday, a caller in the 300 block of Northwest Park Road reported a woman tried to steal a basketball hoop and some toys.

 

Police Arrest Theft Suspects

• At 4 p.m. Wednesday, police responded to the 1700 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue and arrested Austin N. Humphrey, 23, of Napavine on suspicion of third-degree theft.

• At 7:43 p.m. Wednesday, police responded to the 1700 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue and arrested Andrew M. Kidd, 37, of Chehalis on suspicion of third-degree theft.

 

Man Runs In Front of Traffic

• At 9:22 a.m. Thursday, a caller at Fifth Street and William Avenue reported man ran into the roadway in front of traffic.
