Vehicle Prowl

• At 2:52 p.m. on Wednesday, a vehicle prowl was reported in the 1200 block of South Tower Avenue.  

Two Arrested on Warrants, Drug Possession Charges

• At 6:31 a.m. on Thursday, police responded to the 400 block of South Buckner Street in Centralia and arrested Devin S. Reyna, 21, of Cinebar and Damion R. Haddican, 27, of Packwood, on felony warrants and on suspicion of possession of heroin. 

Vehicle Spray Painted

• At 7:38 a.m. on Thursday, police received a report of malicious mischief in the 1400 block of Lewis Street in Centralia. A vehicle was spray-painted. 

Man Arrested for DUI After Car Crashes into Building

• At 9:37 p.m. on Thursday, police responded to the 1100 block of Elm Street and arrested Michael L. Johnson, 25, of Chehalis, on suspicion of driving under the influence. He allegedly drove his vehicle into a detached garage. No injuries were reported.

Custodial Assault Reported at Green Hill School

• At 10:16 a.m. on Wednesday, police received a report of an assault at Green Hill School that occurred on Sept. 23. 

DUI

• At 1:19 a.m. on Thursday, police responded to the intersection of Pacific Avenue and Front Street and arrested Matthew W. Bartlett, 37, of Centralia, on suspicion of DUI. 

Harassing Phone Calls Reported

• At 9:57 a.m. on Thursday, a person in the 1500 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue reported the store was receiving harassing phone calls from the same number. 

Lewis County Jail Statistics

As of Friday morning, the Lewis County Jail had a total system population of 211 inmates, including 174 in general population, 36 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center and one on work release. Of general population inmates, 140 were men and 34 women and of WERC inmates, 33 were men and three women.
