Sirens: Two Arrested After Fight Over Counterfeit Money; Indecent Liberties Under Investigation

Teens Steal Cell Phones

• At 10:32 a.m. on Friday, several display cellphones were reported stolen from a store in the 1200 block of Lum Road. Two teenage boys reportedly stole the phones, fled on foot, then drove off in a blue Honda vehicle. 

 

Credit Card Fraud Reported

• At 11:12 a.m. on Friday, a woman in the 300 block of Latona Street reported credit card fraud. She reported her credit card was used out of state. 

 

Clothes Shoplifted

• At 12:32 p.m. on Friday, police received a report of shoplifters stealing two full bags of clothes in the 1400 block of Lum Road. The men reportedly fled in a silver four-door Mercedes with temporary license plates. 

Indecent Liberties Under Investigation

• At 5:20 p.m. on Friday, police received a report of a possible sexual assault or indecent liberties involving an elderly male suspect and an elderly female victim in the 900 block of South Scheuber Road. The incident is under investigation. 

 

Vehicle Prowl

• At 8:19 a.m. on Saturday, a vehicle prowl was reported in the 300 block of East Maple Street. A suspect reportedly broke a vehicle’s window with a rock and stole the victim’s purse. 

 

Mossyrock Man Booked on Warrant

• At 8:34 a.m. on Saturday, police arrested Jacob I. Hadaller, 31, of Mossyrock, at the Centralia Police Department on an outstanding Centralia Municipal Court warrant. 

Suspect Issued Summons for Protection Order Violation

• At 1:10 p.m. on Saturday, police responded to the 1000 block of Eckerson Road and issued a summons to a 35-year-old man from Montesano on suspicion of violating a domestic-violence no-contact order. 

 

Vehicle Stolen

• At 6:54 p.m. on Saturday, a black 2000 Honda Accord was reported stolen in the 200 block of West Walnut Street. 

 

Centralia Man Booked on Warrant, Drug Charge

• At 11:04 p.m. on Saturday, police responded to the 900 block of Harrison Avenue and arrested Daniel R. Randall, 54, of Centralia, on an outstanding Centralia Municipal Court warrant. A search at the time of his arrest revealed suspected methamphetamine in his possession, and he was also arrested on suspicion of possession of the controlled substance. 

 

Two Arrested After Fight Over Counterfeit Money

• At 11:30 p.m. on Sunday, police responded to an assault in the 1200 block of Alder Street. Two suspects, 55- and 42-year-old Centralia residents, were issued court summonses on charges of fourth-degree assault. They reportedly got into an altercation about counterfeit money. 

 

Rochester Man Cited After Second Stop on Suspended License

• At 11:35 p.m. on Sunday, police responded to the intersection of Cherry and Pearl streets and issued a summons for third-degree driving with a suspended license to a 30-year-old Rochester man. The man was reportedly told by an officer earlier in the evening that his license was suspended, then seen driving later despite the warning.
