Centralia Police Department

Motorcycle Stolen

• At 7:40 a.m. on Thursday, police received a report of a stolen motorcycle in the 1100 block of South Tower Avenue. An unknown person took a 2002 Yamaha YZ250 motorcycle from the back of a pickup truck.

Man Arrested on Drug Charge After Report of Squatters

• At 7:53 a.m. on Friday, police received a report of people squatting on a property in the 500 block of South Pearl Street. Officers arrested Guy A. Johnson, 41, on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and for an outstanding warrant.  

License Plate Stolen

• At 2:38 p.m. on Thursday, police received a report of a stolen license plate in the 1300 block of Rhobina Street. 

Tablet, Money Taken From Residence

• At 5:05 p.m. on Thursday, police received a report that a tablet computer, money and speakers were stolen from a residence in the 1100 block of Long Road in Centralia.

Man Booked on Meth, Heroin Possession

• At 9:18 p.m. on Thursday, police arrested Jared A. Heminger, 22, in the 2000 block of Borst Avenue on suspicion of possession of meth and heroin and for an outstanding warrant.

Chehalis Police Department

Vehicle Prowl

• At 9:14 a.m. on Wednesday, police received a report of a vehicle prowl in the 200 block of Southwest Lewis Street. A purse was taken from a car. 

One Cited for Alleged Shoplifting

• At 2:03 p.m. on Wednesday, police received a report of shoplifting in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue. Cassandra D. Reinhofer, 30, was cited and released on suspicion of third-degree theft. 

Trash Can Stolen

• At 2:05 p.m. on Wednesday, police received a report that a trash can was stolen in the 1500 block of Southwest Thomsen Avenue.

Woman Arrested on Assault Charge

• At 5:48 p.m. on Wednesday, police received a report of a disturbance in the 1900 block of Northeast Kresky Avenue. Amanda G. Mensing, 22, of Centralia, was arrested on suspicion of fourth-degree assault. 

Teen Booked on Marijuana Charge

• At 8:36 p.m. on Thursday, police arrested a 17-year-old Chehalis male on suspicion of possession of marijuana in the 300 block of Southwest Sixth Street. He was booked into the Lewis County Juvenile Detention Center. 

Fuel Lines Cut

• At 10:06 p.m. on Thursday, police received a report that fuel lines on a vehicle were cut in the 1700 block of South market Boulevard. 

Woman Booked on Drug Charge After Theft Report

• At 3:41 a.m. on Friday, police received a report of a woman allegedly stealing merchandise and flushing the packaging down the toilet in the bathroom of the store in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue. When arrested, officers found a substance believed to be methamphetamine in her possession. Rochelle M. McAllister, 32, of Chehalis was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine and referred to prosecutors on suspicion of third-degree theft and resisting arrest.
