Sirens: Suspect Hurls Rock at Windshield of Moving Vehicle; Suspect Breaks Into Food Truck

Caller Reports Phone Scam

•At 1:41 p.m. Friday, police were contacted by a caller in the 1900 block of Van Wormer Street saying they were contacted via phone by a person claiming to be with the Social Security Administration. The caller said they needed payment or an arrest warrant would be issued. Police advised the Social Security Administration would not contact anyone by phone and threaten arrest.

 

Hit and Run

• At 2:06 p.m. Friday, a hit and run was reported in the 600 block of Centralia College Boulevard.

 

Driver Cited for Hit and Run

• At 6:08 p.m. Friday, police responded to Pear and King streets and cited a 62-year-old Centralia woman for hit and run after allegedly striking a vehicle while parking and failing to report it.

 

Suspect Hurls Rock at Windshield of Moving Vehicle

• At 6:49 p.m. Friday, a caller at Harrison Avenue and High Street reported a person struck her windshield with a rock as she drove down Harrison Avenue.

 

Police Arrest Assault Suspects

• At 9:40 p.m. Friday, police responded to the 1300 block of Windsor Avenue and arrested Monica S. Kelley, 44, of Centralia on suspicion of two counts of fourth-degree assault, third-degree malicious mischief and for interfering with reporting domestic violence.

• At 10:33 a.m. Saturday, police responded to the 700 block of South Silver Street and arrested Wesley E. Travis, 27, of Centralia on suspicion of fourth-degree assault — domestic violence.

 

Suspect Booked for DUI

• At 2:28 a.m. Saturday, police responded to the 1100 block of Harrison Avenue and arrested Samuel A. Isguerra, 20, of Centralia on suspicion of driving under the influence.

 

Police Arrest Suspect for Alleged Heroin Possession

• At 1:38 p.m. Saturday, police responded to the 3200 block of Galvin Road and arrested Kristen M. Karboski, 37, of Centralia on suspicion of possession of heroin and on a Department of Corrections warrant.

 

Suspects Arrested, Released for Trespass

• At 4:23 p.m. Saturday, police responded to the 700 block of North Tower Avenue and arrested and released a 57-year-old Centralia woman on suspicion of criminal trespass.

• At 9:14 p.m. Saturday, police responded to the 1200 block of Lum Road and arrested and released a 28-year-old Centralia man on suspicion of criminal trespass.

 

Suspect Breaks into Food Truck

• At 11:15 a.m. Sunday, police responded to the 600 block of North Tower Avenue where someone broke into a food truck, and possibly slept during the night. It was unknown at the time if anything had been taken.

 

Theft

• At 2:18 p.m. Sunday, a theft of a small utility trailer was reported in the 200 block of Tilley Avenue.

 

 Driver Cited for Suspended License

• At 7:20 p.m. Sunday, police responded to the 900 block of West Main Street and cited a 23-year-old Oakville resident on suspicion of driving with a suspended license.

 

Suspect Booked for Allegedly Failing to Provide Name to Police

• At 9:24 p.m. Sunday, police responded to the 1200 block of Belmont Avenue and arrested Kimberly R. Terrell, 41, transient on suspicion of obstructing a public servant and on a Centralia Municipal Court warrant after allegedly refusing to provider her name to officers during an investigation.
