Sirens: Suspect Arrested for Threatening Messages, Suspect Accused of Stealing Car at Gas Station, Counterfeit Bill Reported

Suspect Arrested for Threatening Messages

• At 10:04 a.m. Friday, police responded to the 800 block of West Chestnut Street and arrested Brian A. Linsner, 46, of Centralia on suspicion of harassment, after he allegedly threatened a woman on Facebook.

Thefts

• At 10:38 a.m. Friday, a theft of electrical utilities was reported in the 2000 block of North Pearl Street.

• At 10:48 a.m. Sunday, a theft of a ring was reported in the 1300 block of Alexander Street.

• At 5:01 p.m. Sunday, a theft was reported from a business in the 1300 block of Lum Road.

• At 6:07 p.m. Sunday, a theft of luggage was reported in the 1200 block of Alder Street. 

Suspect Accused of Stealing Car at Gas Station

• At 3:26 p.m. Friday, police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle at a gas station in the 1200 block of Mellen Street. Washington State Patrol troopers found the vehicle in Olympia and arrested Jack A. Dahl, 37, of Arlington on suspicion of vehicle theft. He was transported to the Lewis County Jail.

Burglary Suspect Booked

• At 5:57 p.m. Friday, police responded to the 300 block of West Fourth Street and arrested Kristin J. Doege, 31, of Centralia on suspicion of second-degree burglary — domestic violence.

Malicious Mischief Suspect Booked

• At 6:32 p.m. Friday, police responded to the 900 block of South Scheuber Road and arrested Ryan K. Riedesel, 39, a transient on suspicion of second-degree malicious mischief. Riedesel allegedly attempted to shatter a glass/aluminum door at a health care facility.

Police Arrest Two Individuals During Investigation

• At 7:20 a.m. Saturday, police responded to the 600 block of North Tower Avenue and arrested William F. Adams, 42, a transient, on an outstanding Superior Court warrant, and arrested and released a 55-year-old transient man on suspicion of criminal trespass.

DUI Suspect Booked

• At 10:36 p.m. Saturday, police responded to K and First streets and arrested Calum L. Booth, 30, of Chehalis on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Vehicle Collision Causes Injury

• At 3:26 p.m. Sunday, a two-vehicle collision with injuries was reported at Maple and Pearl streets.

Drivers Cited for Suspended License

• At 7:04 p.m. Sunday, police responded to the 100 block of North Tower Avenue and cited a 25-year-old Tacoma man on suspicion of driving on a suspended license.

• At 8:34 p.m. Sunday, police responded to the 500 block of South Tower Avenue and arrested and released Brian D. Jennings, 45, of Port Angeles on suspicion of driving on a suspended license and arrested him on an outstanding warrant. 

Suspect Booked for Alleged Order Violation

• At 8:07 p.m. Sunday, police responded to the 500 block of South Tower Avenue and arrested and released a 43-year-old Centralia man on suspicion of violating an anti-harassment order.

CHEHALIS POLICE DEPARTMENT

Vandalism Reported

• At 8:29 a.m. Friday, vandalism was reported in the 1100 block of North National Avenue.

Person Reported Violating Order

• At 2:28 p.m. Friday, a caller in the 2500 block of North National Avenue reported someone was violating a court order.

Harassment Reported

• At 2:42 p.m. Friday, a caller in the 1600 block of South Market Boulevard reported harassing text messages.

Police Requested to Trespass Individual

• At 4:15 p.m. Friday, police were requested at a business in the 1600 block of South Market Boulevard, where a person was making threats to employees.

Trespass Suspect Booked

• At 8:58 p.m. Friday, police responded to the 100 block of Southwest Interstate Avenue and arrested Steven M. Fullerton, 27, of Chehalis on suspicion of second-degree criminal trespass.

Driver Cited after Collision

• At 11:57 p.m. Friday, police responded to the 1300 block of Southwest Johnson Avenue and cited a 19-year-old Onalaska man on suspicion of reckless driving, operating without a license and without insurance following a two-vehicle collision. 

Counterfeit Bill Reported

• At 5:12 p.m. Saturday, a counterfeit bill was reported in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue.

LEWIS COUNTY JAIL STATISTICS

• As of Monday morning, the Lewis County Jail had a total system population of 239 inmates, with 205 in general population, 32 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center and two on work release. Of general population inmates, 168 were men and 37 were women and of WERC inmates, 27 were men and five were women. A total of 15 inmates were booked through contracts with agencies outside Lewis County.
