CENTRALIA POLICE DEPARTMENT

Police Investigate Assault

• At 7:24 a.m. Friday, an assault was reported in the 900 block of Johnson Road. Officers are investigating.

 

Vehicle Prowl

• At 10:47 a.m. Friday, a vehicle prowl was reported in the 1100 block of Roosevelt Avenue. Someone stole a car stereo.

 

Vehicle Prowl Suspect Arrested

• At 12:34 p.m. Friday, police responded to the 200 block of South Pearl Street and arrested Michael E. Canton, 35, a transient, on suspicion of stealing items from a vehicle.

 

Juveniles Referred to Prosecutor for Assault

• At 12:54 p.m. Friday, police responded to the 800 block of Eshom Road and referred assault charges to the Lewis County Prosecutor’s Office against an unspecified number of juveniles.

 

Credit Card Fraud Reported

• At 2:12 p.m. Friday, the fraudulent use of a credit card to make purchases was reported in the 900 block of South Scheuber Road.

 

Drivers Cited for Suspended Licenses

• At 4:57 p.m. Friday, police responded to the 500 block of South Pearl Street and cited a 30-year-old Centralia woman on suspicion of driving with a suspended license.

• At 11:37 a.m. Saturday, police responded to the 1000 block of Mellen Street and cited a 25-year-old Centralia man on suspicion of driving on a suspended license.

• At 12:53 p.m. Saturday, police responded to the 1000 block of Belmont Avenue and arrested Sean A. Penn, 33, of Oakville on suspicion of driving on a suspended license and on a Chehalis Municipal Court warrant.

 

Assault Suspects Booked

• At 8:45 p.m. Friday, police responded to the 500 block of East Main Street and arrested Darren L. Fullerton, 52, of Centralia on suspicion of fourth-degree assault — domestic violence, obstructing a law enforcement officer and interfering with a healthcare facility.

• At 8:59 p.m. Friday, police responded to the 1100 block of Long Road and arrested Saije S.J. Heckard, 18, of Centralia on suspicion of fourth-degree assault — domestic violence.

 

Mischief Suspect Booked

• At 11:27 p.m. Friday, police responded to the 1300 block of Kulien Avenue and arrested Ottoniel Munoz, 27, of Centralia on suspicion of third-degree malicious mischief.

 

Suspects Referred for Assault, Flee Police

• At 6:35 p.m. Saturday, police responded to the 1400 block of Johnson Road and issued a summons for a 37-year-old Centralia man to appear in court on suspicion of fourth-degree assault after a witness said the man repeatedly punched his girlfriend. The man fled the scene before police got there.

• At 12:33 a.m. Sunday, police responded to the 3200 block of Galvin Road and issued a summons for a 29-year-old Centralia man to appear in court on suspicion of fourth-degree assault — domestic violence after he allegedly shoved a woman to the ground. The man fled the scene before police got there.

 

Suspect Referred on Drug Charge

• At 12:25 p.m. Sunday, police responded to the 900 block of South Scheuber Road and later referred a 25-year-old Toledo resident to the prosecutor’s office on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.

 

Man Booked on Meth Possession

• At 10:20 p.m. Sunday, police responded to the 900 block of South Scheuber Road and arrested Ryan M. Whiteeagele-Bracero, 29, of Oakville on suspicion of possession of meth.

 

Suspect Booked on Criminal Trespass Charge

• At 12:21 a.m. Monday, police responded to the 900 block of South Scheuber Road and arrested Alicia L. Wilks, 40, a transient, on suspicion of first-degree criminal trespass.

 

CHEHALIS POLICE DEPARTMENT

Suspect Accused of Trying to Steal Service Dog

• At 3:23 p.m. Friday, someone in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue tried to take someone’s service dog by trying to take the leash away from the owner.

 

Two Men Pull Pants Down in Front of Store

• At 5:28 p.m. Friday, two male subjects were spotted pulling down their pants in front of a store in the 1500 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue.

 

Police Cite Assault Suspect

• At 6:13 p.m. Friday, police responded to the 300 block of Southwest Eighth Street and arrested and released Clayton M. Bardwell, 34, of Chehalis on suspicion of fourth-degree assault.

 

Hit and Run

• At 5:12 p.m. Saturday, a hit and run was reported in the 100 block of Southwest Interstate Avenue.

 

Police Requested for Trespasser

• At 8:05 p.m. Saturday, police were requested in the 700 block of Northwest Liberty Place for a trespasser.

 

Vehicles Struck with Eggs

• At 12:16 a.m. Sunday, a caller in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue reported their vehicle was struck by eggs as it was driving past Walgreens.

• At 7:46 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported that a vehicle had been struck with eggs in the 400 block of Northeast Adams Avenue.

 

Police Arrest Trespass Suspect

• At 9:40 a.m. Sunday, police responded to the 700 block of Northwest Liberty Place and arrested Cassidie M. Roddy, 24, of Gig Harbor on suspicion of second-degree criminal trespass.

 

Caller Wants Urinating Man Trespassed

• At 10:56 a.m. Sunday, police were requested in the 1200 block of South Market Boulevard to trespass a man who was urinating on a wall, and appearing to be under the influence.

 

Graffiti Reported

• At 11:11 a.m. Sunday, graffiti was reported in the 400 block of North Market Boulevard. The caller said it happened sometime overnight.

 

Obstruction Suspect Booked

• At 9:21 p.m. Sunday, police responded to the 600 block of Southeast Dobson Court and arrested Tiernan Pettit, 27, of Chehalis on suspicion of obstructing a public servant.

 

LEWIS COUNTY JAIL STATISTICS

• As of Monday morning, the Lewis County Jail had a total system population of 221 inmates, with 190 in general population, 29 in the work ethic and restitution center and two on work release. Of general population inmates, 155 were male and 35 were female and of WERC inmates, 25 were male and four were female. A total of 46 inmates were booked through contracts outside Lewis County.
