Sirens: Suspect Accused of Kicking Officer; Man Cited for Possessing Illegal Knife; Suspect Referred for Alleged Social Media Threats

CENTRALIA POLICE DEPARTMENT

Broken Window Reported

• At 4:06 p.m. Friday, a caller in the 700 block of F Street reported that an upstairs window had been broken overnight.

Patio Table Broken

• At 7:58 p.m. Friday, a caller in the 1100 block of South Tower Avenue reported that someone broke a glass patio table.

Suspect Booked for DUI, Hit and Run

• At 8:03 p.m. Friday, police responded to the 1000 block of West Chestnut Street and arrested Brianna M. Jones, 28, of Chehalis on suspicion of driving under the influence, hit and run and driving on a suspended license. 

Burglary Suspect Arrested

• At 11:42 p.m. Friday, police responded to the 500 block of South Silver Street and arrested Adrienne E. Chester, 26, of Centralia on suspicion of second-degree burglary — domestic violence. Chester allegedly entered someone’s home unlawfully and assaulted the person. 

DUI Suspect Booked

• At 12:03 a.m. Saturday, police responded to the 1300 block of Harrison Avenue and arrested Adele E. Ewing, 48, of Centralia on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Suspect Accused of Kicking Officer

• At 12:48 a.m. Saturday, police responded to the 600 block of M Street and arrested Antonia L. Saucedo, 38, of Centralia on suspicion of third-degree assault and obstructing a law enforcement officer. Saucedo allegedly kicked an officer in the upper leg. Police also arrested Isaiah M. Trevino, 19, of Centralia on suspicion of minor in possession of alcohol.

Man Cited for Possessing Illegal Knife

• At 2:08 a.m. Saturday, police responded to the 1200 block of Mellen Street and cited a 26-year-old Centralia man on suspicion of owning an illegal knife.

Suspect Referred for Alleged Social Media Threats

• At 4:50 a.m. Saturday, police responded to Walnut and Gold streets and referred a Centralia man on suspicion of harassment, after the man allegedly threatened to kill someone on social media.

Suspect Booked for Burglary

• At 6:07 a.m. Saturday, police responded to the 1100 block of Harrison Avenue and arrested Steven M. Fullerton, 57, of Centralia on suspicion of second-degree burglary. Fullerton allegedly entered a building where he had been previously trespassed and stole a bottle of wine.

Suspect Wanted After Attempting to Stab Man with Screwdriver

• At 7:26 a.m. Saturday, police responded to the 100 block of Lilac Lane to investigate an assault. A man, unidentified in police reports, is currently wanted for attempting to stab a man with a screwdriver.

Theft

• At 11:23 a.m. Saturday, a theft of $2,000 in cash was reported in the 2000 block of Harrison Avenue, after a person reported dropping their wallet and finding it later with the cash missing.

Drivers Cited for Driving on a Suspended License

• At 5:10 p.m. Saturday, police responded to the intersection of Sixth and Pearl streets and cited a 26-year-old Centralia resident on suspicion of driving on a suspended license.

• At 6:54 p.m. Saturday, police responded to the 1100 block of South Tower Avenue and cited a 25-year-old Centralia resident on suspicion of driving on a suspended license.

• At 3:02 a.m. Sunday, police responded to Harrison Avenue and Interstate 5 and cited a 25-year-old Centralia resident on suspicion of driving on a suspended license.

Suspect Booked for Violating Probation

• At 6:57 p.m. Saturday, police responded to the 100 block of West Maple Street and arrested Fredy Torres, 21, of Centralia on suspicion of violating a probationary program.

Statue Stolen from Business

• At 11:06 a.m. Sunday, police responded to the 700 block of North Tower Avenue, where a fiberglass statue of a tiger was stolen from a fenced in area at a local business. 

Teen Booked for Assault

• At 12:51 p.m. Sunday, police responded to the 100 block of South Silver Street and arrested a 16-year-old boy on suspicion of fourth-degree assault — domestic violence.

Driver Strikes Several Parked Cars

• At 3:03 p.m. Sunday, police responded to the 1400 block of South Gold Street, where a vehicle crashed through a fence and struck several parked cars. Injuries were reported and high speeds are believed to be a contributing factor in the crash. 

Assault Suspects Booked

• At 7:01 p.m. Sunday, police responded to the 700 block of South Pearl Street and arrested Kathy L. Powell, 66, of Centralia on suspicion of fourth-degree assault — domestic violence.

• At 7:36 a.m. Monday, police responded to the 1300 block of Belmont Avenue and arrested Jenisia C. Precour, 36, of Centralia on suspicion of fourth-degree assault — domestic violence and third-degree malicious mischief — domestic violence.

Suspect Referred for Malicious Mischief

• At 7:06 p.m. Sunday, police responded to the 900 block of South Scheuber Road and referred a 60-year-old Centralia woman to prosecutors on suspicion of second-degree malicious mischief. The woman allegedly caused substantial damage to a door using an electric wheelchair.

Theft

• At 9:40 p.m. Sunday, a theft of four bottles of tequila was reported in the 1100 block of Harrison Avenue.

Police Identity Eluding Suspect

• At 3:42 a.m. Monday, a driver led police on a brief pursuit starting in the 1300 block of Rose Court. A suspect has been identified and the case is under investigation.

CHEHALIS POLICE DEPARTMENT

Vehicle Mirror Broken Overnight

• At 9:41 a.m. Friday, police responded to the 300 block of Southwest Williams Avenue, where a caller reported someone broke a vehicle’s mirror overnight.

Counterfeit Bill Passed

• At 4:45 p.m. Friday, the staff at a business in the 100 block of Southwest Interstate Avenue reported that someone used a fake $100 bill.

Threats Made at Business

• At 6:20 p.m. Friday, a caller in the 100 block of North Market Boulevard reported that a woman called the business and made harassing comments, and then showed up in-person, where she continued to yell at and threaten employees.

Caller Reports Overhearing Threatening Comments

• At 3:31 a.m. Saturday, police responded to the 1400 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue where a caller reported hearing someone say he was going to “go get his guns and take his children by force.”

Vehicle Windows Broken

• At 3:32 p.m. Saturday, a caller in the 1500 block of Southwest Wilson Avenue reported windows had been broken out of a van.

Suspect Referred for Prosecution on Assault

• At 8:29 p.m. Saturday, police responded to the 1400 block of Northwest Airport Road and referred a 46-year-old Chehalis man to the prosecutor’s office on suspicion of fourth-degree assault — domestic violence.

Girl Referred for Assault Charge

• At 10:10 p.m. Saturday, police responded to the 1200 bock of Southwest Pacific Avenue and referred a 16-year-old Olympia girl to the Lewis County Prosecutor’s Office on suspicion of custodial assault.

Hit and Run

• At 11:30 p.m. Saturday, a hit and run was reported in the 1200 block of Northwest State Avenue. A vehicle struck a power pole and then drove away.

Suspect Cited for Assault

• At 12:51 a.m. Sunday, police responded to the 300 block of Northwest Chehalis Avenue and cited a 34-year-old Winlock woman on suspicion of fourth-degree assault.

Store Reports Having One in Custody for Shoplifting

• At 8:39 p.m. Sunday, security at a business in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue reported having a woman detained for shoplifting.

LEWIS COUNTY Jail Statistics

• As of Monday morning, the Lewis County Jail had a total system population of 252 inmates, with 219 in general population, 30 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center and three on work release. Of general population inmates, 179 were men and 40 were women and of WERC inmates, 27 were men and three were women. A total of 37 inmates were booked through contracts with agencies outside Lewis County.
