Chehalis Police Department

Student Found With Marijuana

• At 11:10 a.m. on Tuesday, police received a report of a 16-year-old student found with marijuana in the 300 block of Southwest 16th Street. 

Rape Reported

• At 12:44 p.m. on Tuesday, police received a report of a rape in the 500 block of Southeast Washington Avenue. No arrest was reported. 

Vehicle Stolen

• At 2:56 p.m. on Tuesday, police received a report of a theft of a vehicle by fraud in the 1900 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue. No arrest was reported. 

Medication Taken in Burglary

• At 6:56 p.m. on Tuesday, police received a report of a theft of medication in a burglary in the 100 block of Southwest McFadden Avenue. 

Trespasser Reported

• At 9:19 a.m. on Wednesday, police received a report of a trespasser in a store in the 1200 block of South Market Boulevard. The suspect left the store before police arrived.  

Money Stolen

• At 2:38 p.m. on Wednesday, police received a report of a theft of $450 in the past few months from the 10 block of Southwest Cascade Avenue. 

Assault Reported

• At 9:08 p.m. on Wednesday, an assault was reported in the 10 block of Southwest Third Street. 

Centralia Police Department

Fight Reported

• At 3:26 p.m. on Wednesday, a fight was reported at Fort Borst Park in the 2000 block of Borst Avenue. No arrests were made. The incident is under investigation. 

 Tire Slashed

• At 2:18 a.m. on Thursday, police received a report that a vehicle’s tire was slashed in the 1100 block of West Chestnut Street. No suspects were identified. 

Two Cited on Trespassing Charges

• At 4:07 a.m. on Thursday, police responded to a report of suspects trespassing in a vacant building in the 1000 block of Long Road. Casey J. Darling, 27, and Antonio L. Rodriguez, 28, both transients, were cited and released on suspicion of first-degree criminal trespassing. Darling was also issued a summons to appear in Centralia Municipal Court on an outstanding warrant. 

Rape Under Investigation

• At 11:14 a.m. on Thursday, a rape was reported in the 1300 block of Logan Street. The case is under investigation. 

 Suspect Booked on Assault Charge

• At 6:01 p.m. on Thursday, police responded to a report of an assault in the 900 block of B Street. Alexis M. Davis, 21, of Centralia, was arrested on suspicion of fourth-degree assault. Cameron J. D. Lyle, 20, of Centralia, was arrested on suspicion of violating a protection order. 

Teen Faces Charge for Stealing Alcohol

• At 11:11 p.m. on Thursday, police responded to a report of a theft in the 400 block of West Main Street. A 15-year-old girl will be referred to prosecutors on suspicion of third-degree theft for allegedly stealing three alcoholic beverages, and for possession of alcohol by a minor. 

Man Arrested for Breaking Mirror

• At 1:16 a.m. on Friday, police responded to the 2100 block of North Pearl Street and arrested Michael J. Spillman, 28, of Centralia, was arrested on suspicion of third-degree malicious mischief. He was accused of breaking a mirror that belonged to a roommate.  

Lewis County Jail Statistics

As of Friday morning, the Lewis County Jail had a total system population of 208 inmates, with 179 in general population, 28 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center and one on work release. Of general population inmates, 144 were male and 35 were female and of WERC inmates, 26 were male and two female.
