Retail Store Robbed, Employees Assaulted

At 1:43 p.m. on Friday, police responded to a report of a robbery of a retail store on the 100 block of West High Street. The suspect also allegedly assaulted employees trying to stop the robbery. An investigation is ongoing.

Burglary

At 3:03 p.m. on Sunday, police responded to a report that a business on the 2000 block of Borst Avenue was burglarized. An Investigation is ongoing.

DUIs

At 5:18 p.m. on Friday, police arrested and booked Gordon F. Hoheisel, 54, of Rochester, into the Lewis County Jail for assault fourth-degree, driving under the influence and obstructing a law enforcement officer.

At 1:16 a.m. on Saturday, police arrested Skyler R. Schrader, 22, of Centralia, and booked him into the Lewis County Jail for DUI, driving with a suspended license second-degree and violating the Safe and Sober probation program.

Thefts

At 6:33 p.m. on Friday, police received a report of mail being stolen on the 1300 block of Crescent Avenue.

At 2:02 p.m. on Sunday, a pair of shoes were stolen from a store on the 1300 block of Lum Road.

Man Threatens to Kill Man Over Difference of Opinion

At 6:48 p.m. on Saturday, police arrested and booked Michael Wood, 49, a transient, into the Lewis County Jail for threatening to kill another transient over what police described as “a petty difference of opinion.”

Possession of Meth

At 2:37 p.m. on Sunday, police arrested and booked Rachelle Daniels, 43, from Graham, Washington, into Lewis County Jail for possession of Methamphetamine. 

Possession of Meth, Theft

At 8:57 p.m. on Saturday, police arrested and booked William A Ufford, 30, of Lacey, and Toni R. Emery, 31, of Chehalis, into the Lewis County Jail for possession of meth. Shortly thereafter, at 9:23 p.m. Ufford and Emery were also referred for the charge of theft third-degree for allegedly stealing a friend’s computer.

Teen Kicks Two Centralia Police Officers

At 2:34 a.m. on Sunday, police arrested and booked a 13-year-old male into Lewis County Juvenile for two counts of assault third-degree after he kicked two Centralia police officers.

Car Broken Into

At 7:59 a.m. on Sunday, a car was broken into and cash and credit cards were taken at the 400 block of West Plum Street.
