CENTRALIA POLICE DEPARTMENT

Thefts

• At 9:10 a.m. Friday, a theft of food was reported from a business in the 1000 block of Eckerson Road.

• At 2:08 p.m. Friday, a possible theft was reported in the 800 block of Eshom Road.

Suspect Booked for Meth Possession

• At 9:51 a.m. Friday, police responded to the 3500 block of Galvin Road and arrested Justin A. Beaber, 32, of Centralia on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine.

Counterfeit Bill Reported

• At 12:33 p.m. Friday, a report of a counterfeit bill was reported in the 1400 block of South Tower Avenue.

Assault Reported

• At 12:39 p.m. Friday, a possible assault was reported in the 1000 block of North Tower Avenue.

Hit and Runs

• At 1:15 p.m. Friday, a hit and run was reported in the 900 block of Harrison Avenue.

• At 11:56 p.m. Friday, a hit and run was reported in the 1800 block of North Pearl Street. A black pickup truck reportedly struck a concrete barrier and left the area.

Police Report Finding Meth on Wanted Suspect

• At 4:27 p.m. Friday, police responded to the 600 block of North Tower Avenue and arrested Jesus D. Montano, 41, of Centralia on an active state Department of Corrections warrant. Officers reported finding meth on Montano during a search.

Assault Suspects Booked

• At 5:35 p.m. Friday, police responded to the 300 block of Genge Street and arrested Bryce L. Quale, 39, of Centralia on suspicion of fourth-degree assault — domestic violence.

• At 9:39 p.m. Sunday, police responded to the 2400 block of Borst Avenue and arrested Halis Hankis, 22, of Centralia on suspicion of fourth-degree assault.

Suspect Booked on Alleged Heroin Possession

• At 6:43 a.m. Saturday, police responded to the 3600 block of Galvin Road and arrested Jose A. Garnica, 31 of Centralia on suspicion of possession of heroin.

Police Report Finding Meth During Search

• At 8:08 a.m. Saturday, police responded to the 900 block of Ellsbury Street and arrested Erick D. Teichman-Lehrer, 38, of Chehalis on an outstanding Lewis County Superior Court warrant. Officers reported finding meth on Teichman-Lehrer during a search.

Burglary

• At 1:02 p.m. Saturday, a burglary was reported in the 800 block of H Street. Two generators were stolen.

Driver Cited for Suspended License

• At 5:05 p.m. Saturday, police responded to the 200 block of North Railroad Avenue and cited a 59-year-old Centralia resident on suspicion of driving on a suspended license.

 

DUI Suspect Booked

• At 1:08 a.m. Sunday, police responded to the 700 block of North Washington Avenue and arrested Fairistine I. Wilson, 55, of Centralia on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Theft Suspect Booked

• At 6:33 p.m. Sunday, police responded to the 500 block of South Tower Avenue and arrested Richard Lange, 36, of Chehalis on suspicion of third-degree theft. Lange allegedly stole food items from a store.

Trespass Suspect Booked

• At 9:52 p.m. Sunday, police responded to the 500 block of South Tower Avenue and arrested Antonio Rodriguez, 28, of Centralia on suspicion of criminal trespass.

Assault Reported

• At 10:49 p.m. Sunday, police responded to the 300 block of North Pearl Street for a reported assault. The victim had sustained substantial injury, police reported, and the suspect is known.

CHEHALIS POLICE DEPARTEMNT

Hit and Runs

• At 10:42 a.m. Friday, a hit and run was reported in the 10 block of northeast Median Street.

• At 2:13 p.m. Saturday, a hit and run was reported in the 1700 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue.

Neighbor Spots Kids Trying to Break into Garage

• At 5:19 p.m. Friday, a caller in the 10 block of Southwest Third Street said their neighbor informed them some kids were trying to break into the caller’s garage and threw rocks at their dog.

 

Attempted Theft

• At 7:01 p.m. Friday, an attempted theft was reported in the 700 block of South Market Boulevard. A man tried to put an item up his sleeve and leave, but was caught. No arrests were reported.

DUI Suspect Booked

• At 9:33 p.m. Friday, police responded to the 500 block of South Market Boulevard and arrested Jason A. Pickett, 42, of Centralia on suspicion of driving under the influence. 

Theft

• At 2:44 p.m. Saturday, a theft of an electric bicycle was reported in the 1700 block of Southwest Grandview Avenue.

Trespass Suspect Referred

• At 3:37 p.m. Saturday, police responded to the 1500 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue and contacted a 35-year-old transient man on suspicion of criminal trespass. The man was referred to prosecutors for possible charges.

Counterfeit Bill Reported

• At 7:05 p.m. Saturday, a caller in the 1600 block of Louisiana Avenue reported a customer using a fake $100 bill.

 

Assault Reported

• At 2:20 a.m. Sunday, an assault was reported in the 1400 block of Southwest Mills Avenue.

 

Car’s Windows Bashed

• At 2:28 p.m. Sunday, a caller in the 600 block of Northeast Franklin Avenue reported the windows of their vehicle had been broken. 

LEWIS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Deputies Book Assault Suspects

• At 6:05 p.m. Friday, deputies responded to the 100 block of Symonds Road, Chehalis and arrested Devin S. Reyna, 21, of Chehalis and Morgan E. Shelton, 19, of Rochester on suspicion of fourth-degree assault. 

LEWIS COUNTY JAIL STATISTICS

• As of Monday morning, the Lewis County Jail had a total system population of 229 inmates, with 198 in general population, 29 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center and two on work release. Of general population inmates, 170 were men and 28 were women and of WERC inmates, 24 were men and five were women. A total of 29 inmates were booked through contracts outside Lewis County.
