Vehicle Prowls

• At 11:13 a.m. Monday, police were informed a few cars had been broken into over the weekend in the 1900 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue.

• At 7:42 a.m. Tuesday, a vehicle prowl was reported in the 2100 block of North National Avenue.

 

Caller Spots Man in Neighbor’s Vehicle

• At 12:15 p.m. Monday, police were dispatched to the 400 block of Southeast Washington Avenue after a caller advised a man was in their neighbor’s parked vehicle. No arrests were reported.

 

Burglary Reported

• At 9:29 a.m. Tuesday, a burglary of a pump house was reported in the 400 block of Southeast Park Hill Drive.

 

Person Seen Unconscious, Needle in Arm

• At 4:13 p.m. Tuesday, police were dispatched to the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue where a caller reported a person passed out in a vehicle with a needle sticking out of their arm.

 

Four People Engage in Physical Altercation

• At 5:17 p.m. Tuesday, a fight involving four people was reported in the 1500 block of Rice Road.

 

CENTRALIA POLICE DEPARTMENT

 

Three Arrested, Released for Trespassing

• At 8:57 a.m. Monday, police responded to the 300 block of Centralia College Boulevard and arrested Daniel R. Randall, 54, Aaron J. Henning, 28, and Antonio L. Rodriguez, 27, all transient, on suspicion of trespassing. All were subsequently released.

 

Suspended License Arrests

• At 9:31 a.m. Monday, police responded to the 1300 block of Oxford Avenue and arrested and released Jonathan C. Siller, 24, of Centralia on suspicion of third-degree driving on a suspended license.

• At 11:16 a.m. Monday, police responded to the 1300 block of Oxford Avenue and arrested Brian L. Winter, 62, on suspicion of third-degree driving on a suspended license and an outstanding Chehalis Municipal Court warrant.

• At 3:48 a.m. Tuesday, police responded to the 900 block of Harrison Avenue and arrested and released Laura L. Tomac, 52, of Centralia on suspicion of third-degree driving on a suspended license.

 

 Thefts

• At 3:17 p.m. Monday, a theft of a backpack and multiple unspecified items was reported in the 400 block of West Main Street.

• At 4:55 p.m. Monday, a theft of laundry soap was reported in the 1100 block of Harrison Avenue.

• At 9:17 p.m. Tuesday, a theft of e-cigarettes was reported in the 600 block of Harrison Avenue.

 

Suspect Booked for Meth

• At 7:43 p.m. Monday, police responded to the 200 block of South Pearl Street and arrested Felicia D. Lane, 30, of Chehalis on suspicion of possession of meth and a Centralia Municipal Court warrant.

 

Police Arrest DUI Suspect

• At 9:44 p.m. Monday, police responded to the 1300 block of Oxford Avenue and arrested Clarence R. Rice, 41, of Centralia on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Suspect Booked for Trespassing

• At 8:06 a.m. Tuesday, police responded to the 600 block of Centralia College Boulevard and arrested Briget J. Parker, 25, a transient, on suspicion of criminal trespass.

 

Suspect Hits Person, Chips Tooth

• At 8:38 a.m. Tuesday, police responded to the 2600 block of Fords Prairie Avenue and arrested Deborah A. Griffin, 67, of Centralia on suspicion of second-degree assault after Griffin allegedly struck another person, chipping their tooth.

 

Los Angeles Resident Arrested For Alleged Vehicle Prowl

• At 10:43 p.m. Tuesday, police responded to the 100 block of Virginia Drive and arrested Juan P. Ortega-Alamo, 20, of Los Angeles on suspicion of vehicle prowl after being seen allegedly looking inside vehicles in the area while being in possession of stolen property.

 

LEWIS COUNTY JAIL STATISTICS

• As of Wednesday morning, the Lewis County Jail had a total system population of 227 inmates, with 191 in general population, 33 in the work ethic and restitution center and three on work release. 

Of general population inmates, 149 were male and 42 were female and of WERC inmates, 30 were male and three were female. A total 29 inmates were booked through contracts with agencies outside Lewis County.
