Chehalis Police Department

Harassment Reported at Law and Justice Center

• At 10:24 a.m. on Friday, police received a report of a woman threatened in an elevator in the Lewis County Law and Justice Center. 

Two Arrested for Alleged Shoplifting

• Matthew C. Gilmon, 22, of Chehalis, and Zita N. Kellog, 21, of Centralia, were arrested at 4:42 p.m. Friday on suspicion of third-degree theft after allegedly shoplifting $121 in merchandise from the 1600 block of Louisiana Avenue.

Hit and Run With Pedestrian Reported

• At 5:54 p.m. on Friday, police received a report of a vehicle hitting a pedestrian in the 1000 block of Southwest McFadden Avenue. 

Theft of $1,000 in Merchandise Reported

• A theft of $1,000 in merchandise was reported at 5:13 p.m. on Saturday in the 1000 block of Northeast Hampe Way in Chehalis. 

Theft at Self-Checkout Reported

• A theft at a self-checkout stand was reported at 6:36 p.m. Saturday in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue.

No Arrests After Assault Reported

• At 2:24 a.m. on Sunday, a fourth-degree assault was reported in the 2100 block of North National Avenue. No arrests were made. 

Vicious Dog Reported

• At 6:18 p.m. on Sunday, police received a report of a person being attacked by a dog while walking his dog in the 1800 block of Southeast Maple Drive.

Teen Arrested for Alleged Assault at Green Hill School

• At 11:39 a.m. on Saturday, a 16-year-old Chehalis boy was arrested on suspicion of fourth-degree assault after an altercation at Green Hill School in Chehalis. The teen allegedly hit a 16-year-old Kelso boy, according to the Chehalis Police Department. Both teens are residents of the facility.

 

Centralia Police Department

Vehicle Prowl Reported

• At 11:11 a.m. on Saturday, a vehicle prowl was reported in the 500 block of North Ash Street. A diaper bag was reported stolen.

Domestic Violence Assault Reported

• At 1:26 p.m. on Saturday, police received a report of a domestic violence assault in the 1500 block of Pike Street in Centralia. Officers responded, but the suspect was gone. 

Man Arrested After Dispute

• Kevin G. Blosser, 34, of Centralia, was arrested at 10:56 p.m. Saturday in the 1400 block of West Main Street on suspicion of third-degree malicious mischief after allegedly destroying a bookcase during a dispute.

Man Cited on Suspicion of Trespassing

• Robert L. Huey, 26, of Centralia, was cited at 10:46 a.m. Sunday on suspicion of trespassing in the 600 block of West Main Street.

Vehicle Windows Smashed

• At 10:53 a.m. on Sunday, police received a report of windows broken out of a vehicle sometime during the night in the 500 block of Hill-Kress Avenue.

Tulalip Woman Accused of Violating Protection Order

• Kellie A. Noel, 47, of Tulalip, was arrested at 11:42 a.m. on Sunday on suspicion of violating a protection order in the 1200 block of Belmont Avenue.

Accused Shoplifter Arrested

• Eternity R.E. Bock, 19, was arrested at 5:58 p.m. Sunday on suspicion of third-degree theft in the 1200 block of Lum Road. 

Police Investigate Repeat Thefts

• At 9:27 a.m. on Monday, police received a report of thefts in a store in the 600 block of North Tower Avenue. Video surveillance recorded a suspect stealing items from the store over the past two weeks. Police have identified a suspect and are continuing to investigate the report.

Man Arrested After Giving False Name at Hospital

• Richard R. Perry, 36, of Cinebar, was arrested at 11:01 a.m. on Monday at Providence Centralia Hospital on suspicion of identity theft after allegedly giving another person’s name upon his admission to the hospital.  

Woman Arrested for Allegedly Breaking Fence

• Shannon Wachter, 19, of Centralia, was arrested at 6 p.m. on Monday in the 800 block of Harrison Avenue on suspicion of third-degree malicious mischief after allegedly breaking a fence. 

Man Arrested on Drug Charge

• Jose Garnica, 27, of Chehalis, was arrested at 10:31 p.m. on Monday in the 600 block of South Tower Avenue on suspicion of possession of heroin.

 

Lewis County Sheriff’s Office

Man Arrested on Suspicion of Violating Protection Order

• Jacob M. Cooley, 28, of Tacoma, was arrested at 6:30 p.m. Saturday in the 100 block of John Street in Mossyrock.

Man Arrested on Suspicion of Indecent Exposure, Assault

• Justin L. Bays, 26, of Randle, was arrested at 9:40 p.m. on Friday in the 700 block of Silverbrook Road in Randle after deputies from the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of a fourth-degree assault. Bays is accused of trying to choke an 8-year-old boy. According to the Sheriff’s Office, the child ran to a neighbor’s house. When deputies arrived, Bays was drunk, and attempting to enter the residence where the child was. He allegedly fled the scene, but was later arrested on several outstanding warrants and on suspicion of fourth-degree assault, domestic violence, and indecent exposure, after allegedly urinating in his neighbor’s backyard.

• At 3:46 p.m. on Friday, a brush fire was reported in the 100 block of Green Water Drive in Toledo.

• At 1:28 p.m. on Sunday, a brush fire was reported in the 1900 block of Central Boulevard in Centralia.

• At 3:18 p.m. on Sunday, a brush fire was reported in the 700 block of Tucker Road in Toledo.

• At 4:20 p.m. on Sunday, a brush fire was reported near the intersection of Nevil Road and North Military Road in Winlock.

• At 9:37 p.m. on Sunday, a brush fire was reported in the 1200 block of Harrison Avenue in Centralia.
