Woman Accused of Kicking Deputy During Arrest

• At 7:30 p.m. Sunday, deputies responded to the 100 block of Muford Road, Toledo and arrested Dana Mattson-Graham, 49, a transient on suspicion of third-degree assault and first-degree criminal trespass. Mattson-Graham allegedly returned to a business where she had been previously trespassed and kicked a deputy in the leg as she was being arrested.

 

CENTRALIA POLICE DEPARTMENT

 

Vehicle Prowl

• At 11:04 a.m. Friday, a vehicle prowl was reported in the 1100 block of Borthwick Street. Someone stole a necklace and three pairs of gloves.

 

Two Juveniles Arrested, Released for Shoplifting

• At 5:10 p.m. Friday, two juveniles were arrested and released for allegedly shoplifting in the 500 block of South Tower Avenue.

 

Driver Booked for Suspended License

• At 10:55 p.m. Friday, police responded to the 3000 block of Borst Avenue and arrested Matthew K. Sparks, 33, of Centralia on suspicion of third-degree driving on a suspended license.

 

Man Cited for Driving Without License

• At 9:55 a.m. Saturday, police responded to the 200 block of South Pearl Street and arrested and released a 59-year-old Centralia man on suspicion of driving without a valid license.

 

Person Bitten By Dog During Walk

• At 11:37 a.m. Saturday, a person walking in the 100 block of South Pleasant Avenue reported they were bitten by a dog that wasn’t properly secured.

 

Driver Cited for Suspended License

• At 1:51 p.m. Saturday, police responded to the 100 block of West Main Street and cited a 52-year-old Centralia man on suspicion of driving on a suspended license.

 

Person Arrested, Released for Criminal Trespass

• At 3:54 p.m. Saturday, police responded to the 1200 block of Alder Street and arrested and released a 36-year-old Centralia man on suspicion of first-degree criminal trespass. The man allegedly returned to a business where he had previously been trespassed.

 

Woman Issued Summons For Throwing Rock Through Window

• At 4:30 p.m. Saturday, police responded to the 1900 block of Ahlers Avenue and issued a summons to a 22-year-old Centralia woman. The woman allegedly threw a rock through a vehicle’s window during an argument.

 

Assault Suspect Arrested

• At 7:07 p.m. Saturday, police responded to the 1100 block of Scammo Creek Road and arrested Renelle L. Hansen, 34, of Centralia on suspicion of fourth-degree assault — domestic violence, after Hansen allegedly kicked a family member.

 

Unidentified Suspects Try to Pass Fake Bill

• At 7:32 p.m. Saturday, police responded to the 1300 block of Lum Road, where an unidentified man and woman tried to use a fake $100 bill.

 Juvenile Booked for Assault

• At 5:58 p.m. Sunday, police responded to the 2800 block of Russell Road and arrested a 14-year-old boy on suspicion of fourth-degree assault.

 

Driver Cited for Canceled Title

• At 11:57 p.m. Sunday, police responded to the 1200 block of Mellen Street and cited a 23-year-old Winlock resident on suspicion of driving a vehicle with a canceled title.

 

CHEHALIS POLICE DEPARTMENT

 

Theft

• At 1:22 p.m. Friday, a theft of an electric shopping cart was reported in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue.

 

Vehicle Theft

• At 4:45 p.m. Friday, a theft of a red 1999 El Dorado was reported in the 1400 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue. The owner later reported he found the vehicle.

 

Someone Pours Oil on Cat

• At 9:51 p.m. Friday, a caller in the 700 block of Southwest William Avenue said someone poured motor oil on their cat.

Cars, House Egged

• At 8:38 a.m. Saturday, a caller in the 1500 block of Southwest Johnson Avenue reported cars and a house were egged sometime overnight.

 

Police Requested to Remove Individual

• At 10:40 p.m. Sunday, police were requested in the 500 block of Southeast Washington Avenue to remove a man from the property and trespass him.

 

LEWIS COUNTY JAIL STATISTICS

• As of Monday morning, the Lewis County Jail had a total system population of 219 inmates, with 184 in general population, 33 in the work ethic and restitution center and two on work release. Of general population inmates, 150 were male and 34 were female and of WERC inmates, 29 were male and four were female. A total of 48 inmates were booked through contracts outside Lewis County.
