CENTRALIA POLICE DEPARTMENT

eBay-Related Fraud Reported

• At 9:36 a.m. Monday, a caller in the 600 block of G Street reported some sort of fraud during an eBay transaction.

 

Tire Vandalized

• At 1:34 p.m. Monday, police were notified that a tire was vandalized in the 1400 block of Harrison Avenue.

 

Thefts

• At 4:54 p.m. Monday, a theft of clothing from a store was reported in the 1400 block of Lum Road. An unknown female subject was accused of taking the clothes and leaving.

• At 10:42 p.m. Monday, a theft of candy bars was reported from a business in the 900 block of Harrison Avenue.

• At 2:18 p.m. Tuesday, a theft of rental property was reported in the 1400 block of South Gold Street.

• At 5:41 p.m. Tuesday, a theft of clothing was reported in the 1400 block of Lum Road.

 

Trespass Suspect Booked

• At 8:35 p.m. Monday, police responded to the 1200 block of Mellen Street and arrested Jesse T. Anderson, 38, of Centralia on suspicion of first-degree trespass and on two Centralia Municipal Court warrants. Anderson allegedly entered an employee-only area at a local business.

 

Credit Card Fraud Reported

• At 7:53 a.m. Tuesday, police responded to the 1300 block of Belmont Avenue for some sort of credit card fraud.

 

Person Arrested, Released for Suspended License

• At 10:21 p.m. Tuesday, police responded to the 1200 block of Mellen Street and arrested and released a 43-year-old Chehalis resident on suspicion of third-degree driving with a suspended license.

 

CHEHALIS POLICE DEPARTMENT

Vehicle Prowls

• At 11:38 a.m. Friday, a vehicle prowl was reported in the 1400 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue.

• At 3:07 p.m. Sunday, a vehicle prowl was reported in the 500 block of South Market Boulevard.

• At 7:23 p.m. Sunday, a vehicle prowl was reported in the 1700 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue.

Person Threatened in a Parking Lot

• At 1 p.m. Friday, a caller in the 100 block of Northeast Hampe Way reported being threatened by a man in a parking lot. The man appeared to have a gun in his pocket.

 

Car Stolen Overnight

• At 10:35 a.m. Saturday, a theft of a lime green 2013 Ford Mustang was reported in the 10 block of Southwest Cascade Avenue.

 

Man Seen Crawling Under Abandoned House

• At 1:01 p.m. Saturday, a caller in the 900 block of Northwest Pindle Street reported seeing a man underneath an abandoned house. The man knocked on the caller’s door and asked for an “imaginary person” and then went back underneath the house.

 

Person Seen Passed Out on Sidewalk

• At 4:20 p.m. Sunday, a person was seen passed out on a sidewalk in the 2100 block of North National Avenue.

 

Olympia Resident Arrested for Disorderly Conduct

• At 7:16 a.m. Monday, police responded to the 500 block of Southeast Washington Avenue and arrested Kennetha R. Foster, 30, of Olympia on suspicion of disorderly conduct.

 

Two Subjects Spotted in Caller’s Backyard

• At 5:54 p.m. Monday, a caller in the 800 block of Northwest Ohio Avenue reported seeing two people in their backyard, possibly stealing items.

 

Suspect Seen Striking Female Subject at Bus Stop

• At 6 p.m. Tuesday, a caller in the 500 block of Northwest Front Street reported seeing an argument at a bus stop, where a male subject struck a female subject.

 

LEWIS COUNTY JAIL STATISTICS

• As of Wednesday morning, the Lewis County Jail had a total system population of 223 inmates, with 186 in general population, 35 in the work ethic and restitution center and two on work release. Of general population inmates, 151 were male and 35 were female and of WERC inmates, 30 were male and five were female. A total of 33 inmates were booked through contracts outside Lewis County.
