Sirens: Man Arrested After Alleged Threats With Baseball Bat; Counterfeit Cash Reported

Centralia Police Department

Hit and Runs

• At 9:37 a.m. on Friday, a hit and run was reported at the intersection of Pearl Street and Reynolds Road. 

• At 8:20 p.m. on Saturday, a hit and run was reported at a parking lot at the intersection of Tower Avenue and Main Street. 

 

Centralia Resident Arrested on Meth Charge

• At 6:31 p.m. on Friday, police responded to the intersection of Lum and Reynolds roads and arrested Nicholas F. Henderson, 65, of Centralia, on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine.

 

Tenino Woman Referred on Protection Order Violation

• At 12:06 p.m. on Saturday, police responded to the 1300 block of North Pearl Street and contacted a 26-year-old Tenino woman on suspicion of violating a protection order. She will be referred to Centralia Municipal Court.

 

Accused Trespassers Cited

• At 10:01 p.m. on Saturday, police responded to the 1200 block of Mellen Street and cited Todd A. Bourassa, 50, of Centralia, on suspicion of criminal trespass. He was accused of going to a property he had previously been trespassed from.

• At 9:53 a.m. on Sunday, police responded to the 1000 block of Long Road and cited Antonio L. Rodriguez, Jr., 28, of Centralia, on suspicion of trespassing. 

 

Man Arrested After Alleged Threats With Baseball Bat

• At 4:32 p.m. on Sunday, police responded to the 200 block of Reynolds Avenue and arrested Donald A. Daley, 53, of Centralia, on suspicion of harassment. He allegedly threatened to assault a person with a baseball bat. 

 

Cash Stolen in Burglary

• At 10:30 p.m. on Sunday, a burglary was reported in the 500 block of Hillkress Street in Centralia. A person reported $1,000 in cash was stolen from a lockbox. 

 

Chehalis Police Department

Disorderly Conduct Reported

• At 7:54 a.m. on Friday, police received a report of disorderly conduct in the 1200 block of Southwest Pacific Avenue. No arrests were made.

 

Protection Order Violated

• At 9:37 a.m. on Friday, police received a report of a violation of a protection order in the 300 block of West Main Street in Chehalis. No arrests were reported. 

 

Hit and Run

• At 1:59 p.m. on Friday, a hit and run was reported in the 1900 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue. 

• At 11:52 a.m. on Saturday, a hit and run was reported in the 600 block of Southwest Chehalis Avenue. 

 

Counterfeit Cash Reported

• At 2:54 p.m. on Friday, a store in the 1400 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue reported receiving two counterfeit $20 bills. 

 

Assault

• At 3:53 p.m. on Friday, a fourth-degree assault was reported in the 100 block of North Market Boulevard. 

 

Vehicle Prowl

• At 4:10 p.m. on Friday, a vehicle prowl was reported in the 1500 block of Rice Road in Chehalis. A person reported his car was broken into and two tablets and a lockbox of medication were stolen. 

 

DUI

• At 9:28 p.m. on Friday, police responded to the 600 block of West Main Street and arrested Hannah M. Byrd, 29, of Centralia on suspicion of driving under the influence.

 

Indecent Exposure

• At 4 p.m. on Saturday, indecent exposure was reported in the 300 block of Northwest State Avenue. 

 

Person Strips Bark Off Tree

• At 12:42 p.m. on Sunday, a person in the 500 block of Northeast Washington Avenue reported someone took a knife and stripped the bark off of one of their trees overnight. 

 

Money Stolen From Wallet

• At 3:46 p.m. on Sunday, a theft was reported in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue. A person allegedly stole money from a wallet. No arrests were reported.

 

Lewis County Jail Statistics

As of Monday morning, the Lewis County Jail had a total system population of 240 inmates, including 205 in general population, 33 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center and two on work release. Of general population inmates, 171 were men and 34 were women and of WERC inmates, 30 were men and three women. A total of six inmates were booked through contracts with agencies outside Lewis County.
