Sirens: Man Allegedly Throws Knife at Woman, Misses; Assault Suspects Booked

CENTRALIA POLICE DEPARTMENT

 

Suspect Booked for Alleged Disorderly Conduct

• At 8:03 a.m. Wednesday, police responded to the 200 block of North Railroad Avenue and arrested James A. Fodge, 22, of Centralia on suspicion of disorderly bus conduct.

 

Vehicle Prowl

• At 12:59 p.m. Wednesday, a vehicle prowl was reported in the 400 block of West Summa Street. Someone stole a purse and $400 in cash.

 

Vancouver Man Cited For Hit and Run

• At 5:02 p.m. Wednesday, police responded to Washington and First streets and cited a 71-year-old Vancouver man on suspicion of hit and run.

 

Theft Suspect Arrested

• At 11:03 p.m. Wednesday, police responded to the 600 block of Harrison Avenue and arrested Michael B.K. Farley, 21, of Centralia on suspicion of third-degree theft. Farley allegedly stole an item from a convenience store and fled.

 

Car Vandalized

• At 8:43 a.m. Thursday, police were notified that a car had been keyed in the 500 block of South Tower Avenue.

 

Police Investigate Reported Assault

• At 3:10 p.m. Thursday, an assault among juveniles was reported in the 800 block of Eshom Road. Police are investigating.

 

Window Broken

• At 5:05 p.m. Thursday, a caller in the 1800 block of Cooks Hill Road reported a window on the back side of his house had been broken.

 

Man Booked for Lewd Conduct

• At 8:28 p.m. Thursday, police responded to Locust and Pearl streets and arrested Derren L. Fullerton, 52, of Centralia on suspicion of lewd conduct. Fullerton allegedly was spotted lying beside the road with his genitals exposed.

Woman Booked for Criminal Trespass

• At 6:04 a.m. Friday, police responded to the 500 block of South Rock Street and arrested Kendra Chancy, 34, a transient, on suspicion of criminal trespass.

 

CHEHALIS POLICE DEPARTMENT

 

Police Respond To Harassing Texts

• At 8:05 a.m. Wednesday, police were requested in the 300 block of Southwest 16th Street, where a student had sent harassing text messages to another student. The texts allegedly started to become threatening.

 

Business Owner Wants Man Trespassed

• At 12:56 p.m. Wednesday, a caller in the 1300 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue said a homeless man had been sleeping near the business. The caller requested the man be placed on trespass.

 

Assault Suspects Booked

• At 1:48 p.m. Wednesday, police responded to the 10 block of Southwest 12th Street and arrested Eugene S. McFall, 36, of Centralia on suspicion of second-degree assault. Police allegedly learned McFall threw a knife at a woman. The knife did not hit the woman.

• At 9:36 p.m. Wednesday, police responded to the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue and arrested Ramiro E. Adams, 33, of Chehalis on suspicion of second-degree assault. Adams allegedly struck a woman in the face, breaking her nose and leading to her hospitalization.

 

Thefts

• At 7:56 p.m. Wednesday, a theft of a TV was reported in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue.

• At 6:36 p.m. Thursday, a theft of a purse was reported in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue.

 

Caller Reports Suspected Shoplifting

• At 2:10 p.m. Thursday, a caller in the 1700 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue reported what looked like someone stealing a cartful of items.

 

Erratic Driving Reported

• At 6:41 p.m. Thursday, a caller at Northwest Louisiana Avenue and Shoreline Drive reported an erratic driver who ran a stop light, almost hit another vehicle and was braking randomly. Police learned the driver had trouble seeing at night.

 

LEWIS COUNTY JAIL STATISTICS

• As of Friday morning, the Lewis County Jail had a total system population of 198 inmates, with 168 in general population, 28 in the work ethic and restitution center and two on work release. Of general population inmates, 142 were male and 26 were female and of WERC inmates, 24 were male and four were female. A total of 47 inmates were booked through contracts outside Lewis County.
