Tires Damaged in Malicious Mischief

• At 2:40 p.m. on Wednesday, tires were reportedly damaged in malicious mischief in the 3000 block of Mt. Vista Road. 

Man Arrested After ‘Physical Altercation’ With Roommate

• At 10:53 p.m. on Wednesday, police responded to the 500 block of South Rock Street and arrested Richard B. Goodwillie, 68, of Centralia, on suspicion of fourth-degree assault. He was accused of getting into a “physical altercation” with a roommate. 

Juveniles Referred to Prosecutors for Leaving Restaurant Without Paying

• At 11:33 p.m. on Wednesday, police responded to a report of four juveniles eating at a restaurant in the 1000 block of Harrison Avenue and not paying for their food. The four suspects are being referred to the Lewis County Prosecutor’s Office on suspicion of third-degree theft.  

Hit and Run

• At 9:15 p.m. on Thursday, a hit and run was reported in the 1200 block of Harrison Avenue. A vehicle backed into another vehicle in a parking lot.  

Man Accused of Trespassing in Bar

• At 10:04 p.m. on Thursday, police responded to the 100 block of South Tower Avenue and Arrested John R. Petri, 42, of Centralia, on suspicion of trespassing. He was accused of going into a bar he had been asked to leave earlier that night. 

Chehalis Police Department

Suspect Booked on Disorderly Conduct Charge, Warrant

• 12:13 p.m. on Wednesday, police responded to the 100 block of Northwest Chehalis Avenue and arrested Mark A. Silva, 39, of Centralia, on suspicion of disorderly conduct and on an outstanding warrant. 

Harassment 

• At 1:12 p.m. on Wednesday, harassment was reported in the 300 block of Southwest 16th Street.

Fraud Reported

• At 9:44 a.m. on Thursday, police received a report of fraud from the 500 block of Northwest West Street.  

Lewis County Jail Statistics

 As of Friday, the Lewis County Jail had a total system population of 215 inmates, including 185 in general population, 29 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center and one on work release. Of general population inmates, 145 were men and 40 women and of WERC inmates, 26 were men and three women.
