Sirens: Chehalis Suspect Steals Liquor, Suspect Referred to Prosecutor After Assault Report, Two Arrested for Alleged Trailer Burglary

Centralia Police Department

Keys Stolen

• At 10:01 a.m. on Friday, a car key was reported stolen from a car door in the 1300 block of Belmont Avenue. 

• At 8:13 p.m. on Sunday, car keys were reported stolen during a vehicle prowl in the 100 block of West High Street. 

Mountain Bike Taken

• At 1:09 p.m. on Friday, an orange-colored mountain bike was reported stolen near the intersection of North Scheuber Road and Borst Avenue. 

Graffiti Reported

• At 3:34 p.m. on Saturday, graffiti was reported on a fence in the 900 block of E Street. 

Chehalis Suspect Steals Liquor

• At 9:50 p.m. on Saturday, police responded to a report of a theft of liquor in the 1100 block of Harrison Avenue. A 22-year-old Chehalis resident is being referred to prosecutors for charges of third-degree theft. 

Accused Trespasser Arrested

• At 11:01 p.m. on Saturday, police responded to a report of a trespasser in the 100 block of North Tower Avenue. Shannon K. Kilgore, 49, of Centralia, was cited on suspicion of first-degree criminal trespass. 

Man Booked on Malicious Mischief Charge After Mirror Smashed

• At 10:25 p.m. on Sunday, police responded to the 1200 block of Lum Road. Christopher M. Mullen, 24, of Centralia, was arrested on suspicion of third-degree malicious mischief, domestic violence. Mullen was accused of breaking a vehicle mirror. 

Suspects Arrested for Public Fighting

• At 1:50 a.m. on Monday, police responded to a report of a bar fight in the 100 block of South Tower Avenue. Anthony D. Thames, 33, and Chase P. Underhill, 24, both of Renton, were arrested on suspicion of fighting in public.  

Chehalis Police Department

Theft Reported

• At 2:14 p.m. on Friday, police responded to the 1900 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue to a report of a theft. No arrests were made. 

Burglaries

• At 3:20 p.m. on Friday, a burglary was reported in the 1300 block of Southeast Washington Avenue. No arrests were made. 

• At 3:21 p.m. on Saturday, a burglary was reported on Southwest Cascade Avenue. No arrests were made. 

• At 2:42 p.m. on Sunday, a burglary was reported in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue. 

Suspect Referred to Prosecutor After Assault Report

• At 11:59 p.m. on Friday, police received a report of an assault in the 500 block of Southeast Washington Avenue. A woman reported she was in a verbal dispute with a man and he spit on her. The man was not arrested but will be referred to prosecutors for possible charges. 

Man Arrested on Warrant, Investigated on Gun Charge

• At 1:57 p.m. on Saturday, police responded to the 1500 block of Southwest Kelly Avenue after receiving a report of a dispute. A person reported a man at the residence was illegally in possession of a firearm. Waylon F. Foote, 44, of Chehalis, was arrested on an outstanding warrant in a fourth-degree assault charge from Thurston County and on suspicion of second-degree unlawful possession of a firearm. 

Credit Card Fraud Reported

• At 2:59 p.m. on Saturday, police received a report of credit card fraud in the 400 block of North Market Boulevard. No arrests were made. 

DUI

• At 12:22 a.m. on Sunday, police responded to the intersection of Eighth Street and Market Boulevard and arrested Chrystal R. Hoffecker, 35, of Chehalis, on suspicion of driving under the influence. 

Vehicle Stolen

• At 4:28 p.m. on Sunday, a vehicle was reported stolen in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue. 

Trespasser Reported

• At 7:12 p.m. on Sunday, a trespasser was reported on Southeast Sixth Street. A woman reportedly refused to leave private property. No arrests were reported. 

Lewis County Sheriff’s Office

DUI

• At 8:19 p.m. on Friday, deputies were traveling eastbound on U.S. Highway 12 near Silver Creek when they saw a vehicle with erratic lane travel. Driver Trevor A. McNulty, 29, of Olympia, was arrested on suspicion of DUI. 

Two Arrested for Alleged Trailer Burglary

• At 1:41 p.m. on Sunday, deputies responded to a report of a burglary in the 4700 block of Galvin Road in Centralia. Two people were reportedly in a trailer without permission. Brent W. Robertson, 37, of Toledo and Erin R. Hall, 38, of Onalaska, were arrested on suspicion of second-degree burglary. Robertson was also arrested on suspicion of second-degree identity theft and Hall was also arrested on suspicion of violation of the Uniform Controlled Substances Act.

Winlock Driver Hits Utility Pole in DUI Collision

• At 8:06 p.m. on Sunday, deputies responded to a report of a crash in the 600 block of Nevil Road in Winlock. A 1992 Ford Aerostar hit the pole. The driver, Johnson Paul Higgins, 50, of Winlock, was transported to Providence Centralia Hospital and cited on suspicion of DUI.  

Man Arrested for Breaking Vehicle Window, Trying to Run from Police

• At 4:32 p.m. on Sunday, deputies responded to a report of malicious mischief in the 100 block of Noble Estates Drive in Winlock. A  man was accused of breaking a vehicle’s window with a tire iron. Deputies contacted suspect Christian Carlos Rodriguez, 20, of Toledo and detained him. When they informed Rodriguez he was under arrest, he allegedly tried to run. Rodriguez was arrested and booked on suspicion of second-degree malicious mischief and second-degree escape.
