Sirens: Centralia Suspect Arrested After Allegedly Damaging Bathroom at College; Two Cited for Making False Report on Collision; Trespassers Reported in Vacant Building

Cargo Trailer Stolen

• At 11:02 a.m. on Wednesday, a cargo trailer was reported stolen in the 500 block of South Ash Street. 

Counterfeit $100 Reported

• At 2:36 p.m. on Wednesday, a business in the 1500 block of Lum Road reported it had accepted a fake $100 bill in November, 2019.

Hit and Run

• At 6:56 p.m. on Wednesday, a hit and run damaging a parked car was reported in the 700 block of South Pearl Street. 

Cigars Stolen

• At 11:31 a.m. on Thursday, cigars were reported stolen from a business in the 600 block of South Tower Avenue. 

Centralia Suspect Arrested After Allegedly Damaging Bathroom at College

• At 1:03 p.m. on Thursday, police responded to the 600 block of Centralia College Boulevard and arrested Lucas D. C. Bryan, 29, of Centralia, on suspicion of second-degree burglary. He was accused of damaging a bathroom in a college building and was previously banned from the property. 

Assault Between Juveniles Reported

• At 3:55 p.m. on Thursday, police received a report of an assault between juveniles in the 400 block of West Summa Street. 

Two Cited for Making False Report on Collision

• At 7:22 p.m. on Thursday, police responded to the intersection of Tower Avenue and Pear Street and cited two suspects on suspicion of making a false statement to a public servant. Eric Cruse, 31, and Alexandra S. Hewey, 27, of Centralia, allegedly made a false report regarding the location of a vehicle collision. 

Fuel Stolen

• At 1:54 a.m. on Friday, a gas can and fuel was reported stolen in the 900 block of Old Airport Way at the Mellen Street Park and Ride. 

Shoplifter Steals Lighter Fluid

• At 4:19 a.m. on Friday, a shoplifter was reported in the 1200 block of Mellen Street. Butane lighter fluid was stolen. 

Chehalis Police Department 

Trespassers Reported in Vacant Building

• At 12:21 p.m. on Wednesday, trespassers were reported in a vacant building in the 400 block of North Market Boulevard. The suspects were described as homeless people wearing pajamas. 

DUI

• At 7:54 p.m. on Wednesday, police responded to a report of a person driving under the influence in the 200 block of Southwest Second Street in Chehalis. Travis M. Myers, 34, of Chehalis, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Vehicle Stolen

• At 10:46 a.m. on Thursday, a green 1993 Honda Accord was reported stolen in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue. 

Thefts

• At 12:55 p.m. on Wednesday, a third-degree theft was reported in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue. 

• At 2:58 p.m. on Wednesday, a third-degree theft was reported in the 1400 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue. 

• At 9:08 a.m. on Thursday, a third-degree theft was reported in the 900 block of Northwest Pennsylvania Avenue. 

Harassment Reported

• At 5:08 p.m. on Thursday, police responded to a report of harassment in the 300 block of Northwest Chehalis Avenue. Jason P. Parmele, 41, of Tacoma, was arrested on suspicion of felony harassment, second-degree burglary and first-degree trespass. Police had earlier responded to another complaint regarding the same person at another location in Chehalis, but no charges resulted from that incident. 

Theft of More Than $1,000 Reported

• At 5:19 p.m. on Thursday, police received a report of a theft in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue. A suspect is being referred to prosecutors on suspicion of theft and burglary for the theft of $1,393 in merchandise. 

Sexual Misconduct

• At 7:13 p.m. on Thursday, police received a report of sexual misconduct from the 700 block of Northwest Liberty Place in Chehalis. 

Lewis County Jail Statistics

As of Friday morning, the Lewis County Jail had a total system population of 218 inmates, including 188 in general population, 29 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center and one on work release. Of general population inmates, 152 were male and 36 were female and of WERC inmates, 26 were male and three female.
