Caller Finds Sleeping Bags and Backpacks on Property

• At 12:13 p.m. Thursday, someone in the 2500 block of North National Avenue reported finding two sleeping bags and backpacks by their driveway.

Violation of Trespass Order Reported

• At 6:04 p.m. Thursday, police were dispatched to the 2200 block of Jackson Highway for a criminal trespassing complaint.

 

Person Reports Men  Lingering Around Car

• At 10:02 p.m. Thursday, a caller in the 600 block of South Market Boulevard reported, that while she was at an ATM, two men approached her vehicle and she could then hear them in nearby bushes.

 

CENTRALIA POLICE DEPARTMENT

 

Hit and Runs

• At 8:58 a.m. Wednesday, police responded to the 100 block of West High Street for a hit and run.

• At 10:14 a.m. Wednesday, police responded to the 200 block of South Pearl Street for a hit and run.

 

Suspect Arrested For Violating Protection Order

• At 6:52 p.m. Thursday, police responded to the 300 block of South Iron Street and arrested Bradley M. Pedersen, 43, of Centralia on suspicion of violating a protective order.

 

Garage Vandalized

• At 9:35 a.m. Wednesday, police were alerted to graffiti on a garage in the 600 block of North Washington Avenue.

 

Property Stolen From Motel Room

• At 8:34 p.m. Wednesday, the theft of unspecified property was reported from a motel room in the 1300 block of Belmont Avenue.

 

Vehicle Prowl

• At 8:36 p.m. Wednesday, a vehicle prowl was reported in the 2300 block of North Pearl Street. Someone stole vehicle speakers.

 

Theft

• At 9:09 a.m. Thursday, a theft of a license plate was reported in the 1400 block of Prospect Avenue.

 

Two Arrested After Altercation

• At 12:09 p.m. Thursday, police responded to the 900 block of H Street and arrested Jacob M.M. MacCarney, 19, of Centralia and a juvenile on suspicion of fourth-degree assault — domestic violence after the two allegedly got into a physical altercation.

 

Four People Steal Merchandise, Shove Store Employee

• At 6:47 p.m. Wednesday, police responded to the 100 block of West High Street, where four individuals entered a retail store and stole several bags of merchandise. When a store employee tried to stop the fleeing suspects, one of them shoved the employee away.

 

Man Booked for Unlawful Imprisonment

• At 1:53 p.m. Thursday, police responded to the 300 block of North Gold Street and arrested Lucas D.C. Bryan, 28, of Centralia on suspicion of unlawful imprisonment.

 

LEWIS COUNTY JAIL STATISTICS

• As of Friday morning, the Lewis County Jail had a total system population of 226 inmates, with 190 in general population, 34 in the work ethic and restitution center and two on work release. Of general population inmates, 156 were male and 34 were female and of WERC inmates, 30 were male and four were female. A total of 35 inmates were booked through contracts outside Lewis County.
