CENTRALIA POLICE DEPARTMENT

Theft

• At 8:58 a.m. Monday, a theft of a pistol was reported in the 1300 block of Belmont Avenue.

Burglar Nabs Power Tools From Business

• At 10:50 a.m. Monday, a burglary was reported in the 3700 block of Northpark Drive. Someone stole numerous power tools.

Pickup Stolen From Parking Lot

• At 2:39 p.m. Monday, someone reported the theft of a pickup truck from a parking lot in the 1200 block of Borthwick Street. 

Juvenile Referred for Allegedly Assaulting Teacher

• At 3:49 p.m. Monday, police responded to the 800 block of Field Avenue and referred an 11-year-old to the prosecutor’s office on suspicion of fourth-degree assault for allegedly grabbing a teacher by the neck and punching them.

Hit and Run

• At 5:43 p.m. Monday, a hit and run was reported in the 1300 block of Windsor Avenue.

Suspect Booked for DUI, Gun Possession

• At 12:39 a.m. Tuesday, police responded to the 800 block of South Gold Street and arrested Dionte F. Swafford, 21, of Centralia on suspicion of driving under the influence and unlawful possession of a firearm. 

Vehicle Prowl

• At 7:13 a.m. Tuesday, a vehicle prowl was reported in the 200 block of West Magnolia Street.

Person Booked For Violating Protection Order

• At 11:50 a.m. Tuesday, police responded to the 600 block of Harrison Avenue and arrested Mattieo A. Condoluci, 38, of Centralia on suspicion of violation of a protection order. 

Fraudulent Debit Card Activity Reported

• At 2:37 p.m. Tuesday, police responded to the 100 block of South Pearl Street where someone reported having their bank account accessed by an unknown suspect.

Counterfeit Checks Deposited in Numerous Banks

• At 3:09 p.m. Tuesday, someone in the 200 block of West Reynolds Road reported that around $6,500 in counterfeit checks was deposited in different accounts at various banks. All but $1,800 was returned to a victim.

Teen Receives Pornographic Image from Unknown Man

• At 4:56 p.m. Tuesday, police responded to the 500 block of West Center Street, where a woman said an unknown man sent her daughter a pornographic image on a social media application. However, the image was no longer available due to the type of application used.

CHEHALIS POLICE DEPARTMENT

Person Booked For Vehicle Theft

• At 7:30 a.m. Monday, police responded to the 00 block of Southwest Cascade Avenue and arrested Deago G. Perez, 19, of Chehalis on suspicion of vehicle theft, possession of stolen property, hitting an unattended vehicle and vehicle prowl.

Assault Reported

• At 10:27 a.m. Monday, a person in the 1500 block of Rice Road reported that a known person was hitting them.

Person Behind Wheel Seen Repeatedly Passing Out in Lot

• At 1:01 p.m. Monday, police responded to the 500 block of South Market Boulevard where a man was seen sitting in a vehicle, repeatedly passing out on the steering wheel and waking back up.

Vehicle Prowls

• At 3:12 a.m. Tuesday, a vehicle prowl was reported in the 600 block of Northwest Gertrude Street.

• At 4:55 a.m. Tuesday, a vehicle prowl was reported in the 600 block of Northwest Quincy Place.

LEWIS COUNTY JAIL STATISTICS

• As of Tuesday morning, the Lewis County Jail had a total system population of 237 inmates, with 199 in general population, 35 in the work ethic and restitution center and three on work release. Of general population inmates, 158 were male and 41 were female and of WERC inmates, 30 were male and five were female. A total of 38 inmates were booked through contracts outside Lewis County.
