Sirens: Alleged Underaged Drinkers Cited After Complaint About Party; Dirt Bike Stolen; Neighbors Get in Dispute Over Dog; IRS Scammer

Vehicle Prowls

• At 7:55 a.m. on Friday, police received a report of a vehicle prowl in the 100 block of South Diamond Street. 

• At 7:59 a.m. on Monday, police received a report of a vehicle prowl in the 100 block of South Tower Avenue. Tools were stolen.

• At 10:49 p.m. on Monday, electronics were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 900 block of South Scheuber Road.  

 

Chehalis Man Arrested on Trespassing Charge

• At 10:25 a.m. on Friday, police arrested Joshua L. Harris, 45, of Chehalis, in the 1100 block of Harrison Avenue on suspicion of trespassing and obstructing a law-enforcement officer.

 

Centralian Arrested on Burglary Charge

• At 7:25 p.m. on Friday, police arrested Lucas D. Bryan, 26, of Centralia, in the 500 block of South Tower Avenue on suspicion of second-degree burglary.

 

Vehicle Stolen

• At 1:31 a.m. on Saturday, police received a report of a vehicle theft in the 300 block of West Summa Street. The vehicle’s owner reportedly left it running, and came out of their residence to find it was being driven away by an unknown person. The vehicle was later found undamaged in Chehalis. 

 

Counterfeit Cash Reported

• At 9:01 a.m. on Saturday, police received a report of a counterfeit $20 bill at a business in the 600 block of West Main Street.

• At 4:14 p.m. on Monday, police received a report of a woman attempting to use a counterfeit $50 in the 1000 block of Belmont Avenue. 

 

Bicycle Stolen

• At 10:57 a.m. on Saturday, a bicycle was reported stolen from the 100 block of South Silver Street. 

 

Men Arrested

on Assault Charges

• At 5:20 p.m. on Saturday, police arrested Richard J. Allhouse, 29, of Centralia, in the 100 block of Virginia Drive on suspicion of fourth-degree assault, domestic violence and for interfering with the reporting of domestic violence.

• At 3:18 p.m. on Monday, police arrested David W. Percy, 48, of Centralia, in the 3300 block of Fords Prairie Avenue on suspicion of fourth-degree assault.

 

Man Booked on Malicious Mischief Charge

• At 6:13 p.m. on Saturday, police arrested Michael E. Madrigal, 20, of Centralia, in the 100 block of Shirlee Avenue on suspicion of third-degree malicious mischief.

 

Backpack Stolen from Residence

• At 9:47 a.m. on Sunday, police received a report of a burglary in the 500 block of South Pearl Street. A backpack was stolen from the residence. 

 

Hit and Run

• At 1:31 p.m. on Sunday, a hit and run was reported at the intersection of Maple Street and Railroad Avenue. 

 

No Injuries Reported in Collision

• At 4:46 p.m. on Sunday, a two-vehicle collision was reported at the Intersection of Rock and Main streets. No injuries were reported.

 

Men Arrested

on Suspicion of Fighting

• At 6:13 p.m. on Sunday, police arrested James Lowther, 38, of Centralia, on suspicion of fighting in public in the 600 block of West Warren Street. 

• At 12:05 a.m. on Monday, police arrested Robert Day, 38, of Onalaska, Trevor Johnson, 30, of Chehalis, and Edward Arredondo, 34, of Chehalis, on suspicion of fighting in public in the 100 block of South Tower Avenue. 

 

Medication Taken in Burglary

• At 1:41 p.m. on Monday, police received a report of a burglary at a residence in the 1000 block of Scammon Creek Road. A person reported that prescription medication was stolen from their home while they were on vacation. 

 

Oregon Man Arrested on Trespassing Charge

• At 3:50 p.m. on Monday, police arrested Eric D. Walls, 36, of Portland, in the 1200 block of Alder Street on suspicion of criminal trespass. Walls was accused of being disruptive at a business and refusing to leave.

 

Xbox, Cash Stolen in Burglary

• At 4:43 a.m. on Tuesday, police received a report of a burglary to a residence in the 100 block of North Iron Street. An Xbox and cash were stolen. 

 

Chehalis Police Department

Vehicle Prowls

• At 11:45 a.m. on Friday, police received a report of a vehicle prowl in the 400 block of Northeast Adams Avenue. 

• At 6:01 p.m. on Saturday, police received a report of a vehicle prowl in the 600 block of Northwest Gertrude Street. Keys and fishing poles were reported stolen.

• At 8:54 a.m. on Sunday, police received a report of a vehicle prowl in the 1400 block of Southwest Johnson Avenue. Tools were reported stolen.

• At 10:10 a.m. on Sunday, a vehicle prowl was reported in the 1400 block of Southwest Kelly Avenue. Tools were stolen.

• At 11:50 a.m. on Sunday, a vehicle prowl was reported in the 600 block of Southwest Chehalis Avenue. 

 

Suspicious Subjects Reported

• At 11:55 a.m. on Friday, police received a report of suspicious activity near the area of Louisiana Avenue and Airport Road. A person reported they saw two people dragging a carpet pad out of a wooded area. 

 

IRS Scammer

• At 1:49 p.m. on Friday, police received a report of a scam phone call from Southwest McFadden Avenue. The caller claimed to be from the IRS.

 

Accused Shoplifters Cited

• At 2:37 p.m. on Friday, police received a report of a shoplifter in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue. Tamara C. Bodnar, 24, of Olympia, was cited on suspicion of third-degree theft for allegedly taking men’s underwear.

• At 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, police responded to a report of a shoplifter in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue. Leann K. Boling, 34, of Shelton was cited on suspicion of third-degree theft for allegedly taking deli food.

• At 9:42 p.m. on Saturday, police received a report of shoplifting in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue. John P. Mickey, 53, and Shannon E. Mickey, 41, both of Chehalis, were cited on suspicion of third-degree theft. They allegedly scanned one item at the self-checkout and left without paying for the rest of the items in their cart, valued at $351.71.

 

Golf Clubs Stolen

• At 3:59 p.m. on Friday, police received a report of a theft of golf clubs from a car in the 200 block of Southwest John Street. 

 

Hit and Runs

• At 11:44 a.m. on Saturday, police received a report of a hit and run collision in the 1100 block of South Market Boulevard.

• At 11:10 p.m. on Saturday, police received a report of a hit and run in the area of the intersection of First Street and Washington Avenue. 

 

Neighbors Get in Dispute Over Dog

• At 11:46 p.m. on Sunday, police received a report of a dispute over a dog in the 700 block of Northwest Pennsylvania Avenue. Tyson S. Miller-Willis, 21, of Chehalis, was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct.

 

Lewis County Sheriff’s Office

Dirt Bike Stolen

• The Sheriff’s Office is investigating a report of a dirt bike stolen in the past two weeks from a garage in the 500 block of Avery Road in Winlock. The 2007 Suzuki 250 bike is valued at $4,000.

 

Alleged Underaged Drinkers Cited After Complaint About Party

• At 11:23 p.m. on Friday, the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a large party and people walking along the road. Deputies arrived and made contact with several people who allegedly admitted to consuming alcohol. Deputies cited and released Ashten C. Middleton 19, Levi R. Sabin, 20, Tanner T. McDonald, 18, Seth P. Bennett 18, Phoenix a Millhollen 18, Jacob J. Burgess 19, Fletcher G. Brown 18, all of Chehalis, and referred two 17 year olds to juvenile court on suspicion of being minors in possession of alcohol.
