Onalaska Woman Injured When Vehicle Hits Tree

A 23-year-old Onalaska woman was injured Sunday morning when her vehicle went off the road and struck a tree, according to a report from the Washington State Patrol. 

The incident was reported at 8:21 a.m. Sunday at milepost 1 of State Route 508 — at the intersection with Coulson Road. 

The Onalaska woman, driving a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee, reportedly attempted to pass another vehicle and lost control. 

She was transported to Providence Centralia Hospital. The second vehicle was not identified. The crash was caused by speeding too fast for conditions, according to the state patrol.
