A driver taken to the hospital after a crash on Interstate 5 in Tumwater on June 19 has died from his injuries, the Washington State Patrol said.
Rickie Cheron, 57, of Lacey died at Providence St. Peter Hospital on June 24.
The 1997 Mercury Sable he was driving hit a barrier as he was northbound at Milepost 103 about 1 a.m., troopers said.
The cause of the wreck is still under investigation.
Drugs and alcohol were not involved, according to the state patrol.
