Driver Arrested on DUI Charge After Hitting Car, House

A Centralia driver was arrested Monday on suspicion of driving under the influence and hit and run after allegedly hitting a parked vehicle and a house. 

Catarina Alonzo Santiago, 36, of Centralia, was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail on the above charges. She was also issued an infraction for driving without a license or insurance. 

The incident was reported at 2:45 p.m. Monday in the 900 block of North Tower Avenue in Centralia, according to the Centralia Police Department. Alonzo Santiago allegedly struck a parked vehicle with her car and fled the scene. 

“After fleeing the scene, Catarina (Alonzo Santiago) then drove her vehicle into the corner of a house,” according to a report from the Centralia Police Department. 

No injuries were reported.
