A woman ordered to complete a DOC inpatient drug program as part of an identity theft conviction attempted Tuesday during her arrest to use the same stolen identity to evade a police officer.

Jacqueline M. Kilmer, 32, of Chehalis, was charged Wednesday in Lewis County Superior Court with escape from community custody, second-degree identity theft and third-degree assault.

Superior Court Judge James Lawler ordered Kilmer held on $50,000 bail. She is also being held on no bail on a separate pending matter.

On Nov. 4, 2015, Kilmer was sentenced in Lewis County under the Drug Offender Sentencing Alternative (DOSA) to 24 months of community custody and a 3- to 6-month in-patient rehab program.

On Nov. 6, the day after she started the rehab program, Kilmer reportedly walked away from treatment. A warrant was issued for her arrest on Nov. 16.

On Feb. 16, a Centralia police officer spotted Kilmer and questioned her.

Kilmer allegedly pretended to be her sister, who was the victim in the identity theft conviction that led to Kilmer’s DOSA sentence, according to court documents.

The officer confirmed Kilmer’s identity using a tattoo on her ankle.

Kilmer also allegedly scratched the officer’s arm during the arrest, breaking the skin and causing bruising.

Kilmer has prior convictions for crimes including second-degree identity theft, first-degree criminal impersonation, second-degree burglary, theft and violation of a no-contact order, all from 2015, as well as other convictions from previous years.
