Transient Arrested After Breaking Gate

• Lucky A. St. Clair, 47, a transient in Centralia, was arrested at 2:57 p.m. Monday in the 700 block of North Tower Avenue on suspicion of third-degree malicious mischief after allegedly breaking a gate. 

Woman Cited for Theft

• Rachel D. Beaubein, 33, of Rochester, was arrested and released at 2:28 p.m. Saturday in the 1100 block of Harrison Avenue in Centralia on suspicion of third-degree theft.

Police Arrest Man on Warrant, Find Stolen Property

• Matthew W. Tracy, 43, a transient in Centralia, was arrested at 12:14 p.m. Saturday near the intersection of Main Street and Iron Street for an outstanding warrant. Centralia police officers also found stolen property on Tracy and referred the case to the Chehalis Police Department, where the theft allegedly occurred. 

Jewelry Reported Stolen in Burglary

• At 3:21 p.m. Saturday, someone in the 1200 block of H Street reported a burglary. Jewelry was reported stolen.

Man Arrested for Assault

• At 7:09 p.m. on Saturday, Jesse L. Hamilton, 28, of Centralia, was arrested in the 300 block of North Tower Avenue on suspicion of fourth-degree domestic violence assault.

Driver Arrested after Morton Collision

• Brian B. Coleman, 65, of Randle, was arrested Monday by the Washington State Patrol after a collision at the intersection of U.S. Highway 12 and state Route 7 in Morton. A State Patrol press memo notes that Coleman was arrested on suspicion of Driving Under the Influence. According to the Lewis County Jail log, Coleman is being held on suspicion of  vehicular assault. According to the state patrol, Coleman, traveling south on state Route 7 in a 2005 Ford F350 truck at 3 p.m., failed to yield at the intersection with Highway 12, and hit a second vehicle, a 2007 Ford F 150 towing a trailer. One of the second truck’s two passengers, both of Olympia, was injured and transported to Morton General Hospital. Coleman was also injured and transported to the same hospital.

Two Injured in Mossyrock Crash

• Two Lewis County drivers were injured in a two-vehicle crash at 10:54 a.m. Saturday 5 miles west of Mossyrock on U.S. Highway 12. A 62-year-old Mossyrock woman was driving westbound on U.S. Highway 12 in a 2012 Buick Verano when she rear-ended a 1998 Honda Accord driven by a 38-year-old Onalaska woman that was stopped to make a left turn into a driveway. The Mossyrock woman was injured and transported to Morton General Hospital. The second driver was injured but not taken to the hospital. Both vehicles were totaled. The accident was caused by inattention and speeding on the part of the Mossyrock woman, according to the State Patrol.
