Sirens: Burglary; Assault; Organized Retail Theft; Vehicle Crash

Burglary

• A TV, Xbox and other items were reportedly stolen from a residence on the 500 block of West Fourth Street. It appears the thief entered the residence through an unlocked door sometime during the night. The burglary was reported at 9 a.m. Thursday.

Assault

• Derrek J. Larson, 21, of Centralia, was arrested and booked into jail for suspicion of fourth-degree assault on the 600 block of South Tower Avenue at about 11:30 a.m. Thursday after he allegedly pushed his mother.

Forgery

• Someone reported that an unknown suspect had withdrawn about $700 from his bank account via a routing number on the 2500 block of Eureka Avenue at 11:30 a.m. Thursday. The case is still under investigation.

Theft

• Christopher T. Woolam, 44, of Centralia, was referred for theft charges after an investigation revealed he rented a TV from a store on the 2000 block of Borst Avenue and then allegedly sold it to a pawn shop several days later in Chehalis.

Vehicle Crash

• Three people sustained injuries after a two-vehicle crash near Borst Avenue and North Scheuber Road at about 2:40 p.m. Thursday. One of the vehicles failed to yield the right of way and pulled in front of the second vehicle, which caused the collision. The causing driver was cited.

Organized Retail Theft

• Aaron E. Kyllonen, 27, of Longview, and Kinzy R. Murray, 19, of Kelso, were both arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail for suspicion of organized retail theft after they both were caught working together to shoplift from multiple outlet stores on the 100 block of West High Street shortly before 5 p.m. Thursday.
