The Centralia High School girls basketball team won the WIAA 2A Academic Championship. The team had a combined grade point average of 3.905 — the highest GPA of any team in their division, in any sport, statewide.
This is the school’s fourth WIAA academic championship this year. Centralia High School is the only school in Lewis County to earn a WIAA academic championship for winter sports.
