‘Gremlins’ Coming to Fox Theatre

Historic Fox Theatre Restorations will be screening “Gremlins” at 2 and 7 p.m. Saturday at the Fox Theatre in downtown Centralia.

In this ’80s American horror comedy, a gadget salesman is looking for a special gift for his son and finds one at a store in Chinatown. The shopkeeper is reluctant to sell him the “mogwai” but sells it to him with the warning to never expose him to bright light or water, or to feed him after midnight. All of this happens and the result is a gang of gremlins that decide to tear up the town on Christmas Eve.

Admission is $8 per person, $7 for members and $20 per family (three to four persons). Presale tickets are available on Brown Paper Tickets at http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/1337218, at Book ‘n’ Brush in Chehalis, and Holley’s Place, HUBBUB, Santa Lucia Coffee and PostNet in Centralia. Holley’s Place and the new Fox Theatre concession stand supply movie snacks, including popcorn, nachos, hot dogs, pretzels, drinks and more.

For more information, call the Fox Theatre at (360) 623-1103 or visit www.centraliafoxtheatre.com. All proceeds from the event benefit the restoration of the Historic Fox Theatre.
