The Brown Shack Tavern in Salkum is holding a benefit on Saturday to raise money for youth sports programs in Lewis County in honor of recently deceased Randle teenager Ben Eastman.

The event is set to begin at 6 p.m. with a barbecue that includes chicken, bratwurst and potato salad. Dakota Robbins is scheduled to play music in the beer garden at 6 p.m. followed by Brothers Rowe at 8 p.m.

A wristband that will grant wearers access to the food and music costs $20. All proceeds from the event, including donations and receipts from Coors Light tap pulls will go toward helping disadvantaged youths in Lewis County afford to participate in athletics.
