On Deadline

Brian Mittge, a fourth-generation Lewis County native, returned to his hometown in 2000 and has covered local issues for The Chronicle since then, first as a reporter, then as a columnist, and now as assistant editor.

Sports Clips

What you see is what you'll get from The Chronicle's sports team: a whole bunch of Sports Clips. We'll keep tabs on the local, the regional, and, occasionally, the national sports scene.

Schwartz in the City

Eric Schwartz is a reporter whose Chronicle beat covers municipal government, health, and happenings in the cities of Centralia and Chehalis. Off his beat, he enjoys baseball, politics, long walks and curling up in front of a crackling fireplace with that special newspaper. Read his blog, and send him your comments or criticism.

A Series of Tubes

Rick Pierce, web developer for the Chronicle, states his thoughts and opinions on recent articles appearing online, updates to and the future of Chronline.com, video games, local nerd gatherings, and this wonderful thing called "the Internet".
