A 42-year-old registered sex offender has been arrested after a Centralia woman woke up to him sitting on her bed and caressing women’s lingerie.
Michael Sanders, of Centralia, was arrested for alleged residential burglary with sexual motivation following the 1 a.m. Thursday incident on the 600 block of North Pearl Street.
According to Centralia police, the victim and her infant child awoke to Sanders’ presence. She told Sanders she had to go to another room, which he allowed.
Sanders, who lived a block away from the victim, then fled.
